This is a great lodge with fantastic wildlife viewing. I have been 3 times over the past few years and took my whole family for a few days in August 2014 tipo give them a chance to see what I had seen. Friendly helpful staff and knowledgable trackers Rangers. One tip research carefully about the luxury (deluxe) rooms as they...

My partner and I had four days at Arathusa in October 2014 at the end of our trip to South Africa. We were picked up at Nelspruit Kruger Airport by a friendly driver from the lodge who immediately started to fill us in on what we might expect to see on the three hour journey to the safari lodge . We...

If you wish to experience the South African bush and wildlife in comfort you can't go wrong with Arathusa. We had a "Luxury" cottage, that came equipped with our own collection of African fauna. The food was very good but the safaris were even better. We were just a few feet from a pride of lions who had the good...

It was our second stay at Arathusa in 4 years, we are out of words to describe how everything was perfect. Malcom the chef is very creative and the food is amazing. The entire staff is extremely helpfull. The room was very nice, clean and very large (it was the standard bungalow). And what about the game drives!! Just amazing...

We traveled to a few places in South Africa for our honeymoon, but Arathusa was definitely one of the highlights! It was our first time in Africa and first safari experience and we were just blown away! The lodge itself is beautiful and peaceful, with large, comfortable rooms overlooking a watering hole. We saw hippos, buffalo, and elephants at it...

Had a great 5 days at the lodge - just a fantastic experience. Lucky enough to get one of the standard rooms on the waterhole. Our Ranger - Rein - and tracker DeBeer - were terrific. Great knowledge and love of the wildlife, we saw the Big 5 on numerous occasions, plus plenty of Hippos, Giraffes, Zebras, Hyenas, various Antelopes...

We stayed at Arathusa Safari Lodge for the last three days of our 8 day safari and this was an unforgettable experience. The Lodge is just to die for. The room was beautiful (with a view of the lake and the hippos on the islet) and what about the food....just sublime. Management and staff are so friendly (especially Nelson....I miss...

I stayed at the Arathusa for my first safari and cannot say enough positive things. The rooms are beautiful and the food is delicious. We stayed in one of the luxury rooms, which was so nice (comes with a patio, private pools, glass shower). The room was a bit far from the main lodge area so we had to be...

With highly experienced guides of Arathusa we had the opportunity to see each of big five at least twice during our 2 morning and 2 afternoon safaris. It was great experience, I even joined walking safari despite the risk of facing one of the big ones it was quiete exiting for seeing small things and details in such big world....

I stay at Arathusa in August 2013 and it was an unforgettable experience! Our tracker and ranger were both extremely knowledgeable and worked hard to ensure we saw the Big 5 - which we did! Plus a cheetah so that was special. The actual location of the resort was remote and quite a journey to get there. However, as soon...
