Nkoro is what you would expect a nice 3 stars family hotel to be, but far from other private reserves in South Africa. Disappointing, considering the price. Our game viewing was good, but not as exciting as others we had. Finally, it's absurd for a lodge that costs 600 euros a night to charge for the still water provided during...

For us the first time of going to a private reserve so difficult to benchmark with others. Welcome was very friendly and a true holiday experience. Rooms, views, were excellent. Wild drives were nice, much nicer than in Kruger park itself. We really felt like being treated nicely. The only remark for improvement we have is about the food. Although...

What a wonderfull place! In the middle of Sabi Sand (private game reserve) you will find Nkorho Bush Lodge. Arriving there give you a feeling of luxury, because of the nice people, great service and beautiful lodges. There are only 8 lodges, so it's really quiet, with a nice pool and nice food. The best however are the game drives:...

We spent 4 days (3 nights) at Nkorho and had 2 adjacent chalets (one for us and another for our 3 children). Our stay at Nkorho exceeded all of our expectations; the lodge is extremely comfortable, all staff are incredibly welcoming and we enjoyed all of the meals (they even prepared a birthday cake for dinner for one of my...

My wife and I spend 5 days of our honeymoon there. It was our first time on a safari. Definitely the best of our trip. This is a small hotel in the middle of the reserve (during the night there are animals close to the rooms), just 7 rooms (I think) with a swimming pool. The room was incredible (the...

If it's leopards you're into (as I am), and if staying at a real luxury lodge is not, this is the place to go. Before leaving Africa, I wanted to see leopards, with an almost 100% guarantee. Nkorho will do this for you. At most of the places, you tell the rangers that you want to see leopards and what...

This is an awesome place. The food was great and well catered. They use a Boma made of Leadwood at nighttime which adds character to the evening. On my last day as with some other guests the staff performed a farewell dance thing. The animal wildlife around the area is outstanding and well exceeded my expectations. The Rangers/guides are great,...

Spent four nights here recently and I recommend it highly to anyone looking for a safari lodge in Sabi Sands. We had two chalets, one for the kids and one for ourselves (number 7 - the honeymoon chalet). Nkorho is beautifully situated, facing an open plain and a small watering hole visited regularly during our stay by elephants, zebras, impala...

Spent two nights at Nkorho Lodge during my honeymoon in South Africa. Service was top notch. Very friendly and warm in the right times while respecting our privacy when needed. Rooms are exquisitely decorated, with everything you need to be perfectly rested after a day out in the bush. All of that, though, is nothing compared to the drives and...

We were a family visiting (three children and five adults) and had an absolutely fantastic time! Everything from the highly varied and high-quality food and extremely helpful staff to breathtaking safaris with our fantastic guides Pieter and David. This was, for us, a complete safari experience. While we saw the Big 5 as well as a cheetah -- all seen...
