This campground is high in the mountain. It comes with a tables w/benches and a fire pit grill. It's only $6 for each car a night and there is a host on site. There are 3 bathrooms (toilets only) on site. There was a fire there around 3 years ago but this place wasn't really affected. The area was beautiful!...

Overall this campground is great for tent camping. Very clean grounds and reatrooms....included on each camp site is a bench and fire pit with attached grill. We enjoyed the views day and night and also seeing some wild turkeys, horses, birds but I thought the best was at night hearing the elk and coyotes. For me, the only thing missing...

I always enjoy staying at this campground which is half way up Ski Run Road heading to Sierra Blanca and Ski Apache near Ruidoso, NM. There are cement picnic tables and toilets. Bring your own water. It is best for tent camping or small RVs. A herd of wild horses visist the camp area sometimes and elk can be seen...
