Spent 3 nights at Kapama, and have no hesitation in recommending. River Lodge is excellent - spacious and well decorated rooms, with very good buffet style meals, with plenty of variety. Drinks are reasonably priced and are charged in addition. River Lodge has a beautiful swimming pool overlooking a watering hole which has resident hippos and another pool in the...

Unforgettable experience with my family at Kapama River Lodge. Everything was great from very personal service, to the Lodge (modern, clean, good size) One person take cares of you during your entire stay. The Raider Brian and Ian absolutely fantastic, showed us the Big 5, amazing views and also little animal that lives in the park. Maybe the only thing...

The overall experience was outstanding, from check-in to check-out. The rooms are spacious and confortable and the housekeeping staff does a tremendous job. There are several meals/day (snack pre-morning game drive, breakfast, lunch, snack pre-afternoon game drive, dinner) including snacks during the game drives. HARRY is an amazing, knowledgeable Guide for the Game Drives, highly recommed requesting for him.

I stayed here for 4 nights in November. I was skeptical going into this part of my trip as I'm very prone to motion sickness and driving around in the wilderness looking for animals was not really on my bucket list. It was phenomenal! I had the best time! We saw 4 of the big 5. The Leopard was elusive....

Brilliance all the way around. It was often hard to believe we were in the middle of a game park in South Africa! From the moment our flight landed we were treated with highest regard. The room was amazing with its own private pool. We saw animals in abundance up close and personal and the food was delish! I highly...

So happy we chose to stay at this location! Excellent facilities, very good and friendly staff! I would highly recommend this place! We had a conference here celebrating one of our mentors and a combination of academic activities with safari drives made this event one to remember for the rest of my life!

Everything at Kapama is wonderful. Staff, Settings. Room, Food & Especially the Game Drives. Being a private game reserve its obviously not as big as the Kruger but it is still home to the big 5. Can't say thank you enough for accommodating our 2 1/2 yr old on some of the game drives. Worth every penny, just be aware...
