Ngala shares an open border with Kruger so has good game viewing, big 5 plus all the others you would want to see, and interesting terrain to track the animals. There is a high quality of guiding and tracking, and the guides are knowledgeable and entertaining for old safari hands and first timers alike. No more than 6 in a...

There is a reason I went back to Ngala for my honeymoon after having first visited with friends in 2013. This private concession within the Kruger Park Reserve allows for longer game viewing into the dark and off road game drives. We we able to see all of the big 5 during our 3 night stay and come incredibly close...

This was our second trip to Ngala Tented Camp, this time with our son and daughter-in-law on their first trip to Africa, so their delight amplified ours. We spent 3 nights here and the 3 following nights in Phinda Sand Forest Lodge. As before the accommodations, hospitality, cuisine, expertise, excitement on the game drives was exceptional. We visited in March...

We have done many safaris at andBeyond Lodges, but this was our first at Ngala Tented Camp. Our tent overlooked the dry Timbivati River and was a short walk to the pool and main lodge. The tent is luxurious with a super King bed, plenty of room in the tent, a private WC, a separate free standing bath and a...

We went to Ngala tented camp this is our 2nd time there. We stayed 2 nights. The lodge looks great very different from When we were last there. Just back from a 3 night stay at Ngala Tented camp with my sister. To sum it up-- I wept when I left. Most amazing experience ever. Our guide and tracker, Jason and Adam, had special powers when it came to how many animals we saw. We had 4 Leopard sightings!! . We also had one day with Scott and...

The tents were very comfortable and luxurious. Food is excellent. But what is most amazing is that people are very friendly and professional. Lee Anne and Richard are incredible! They really tried hard and we saw the Big 5 plus others in 4 game drives. So close to the animals that we worried we were interrupting the lion's or leopard's...

We stayed at Ngala Tented Camp as part two of a safari organized by &Beyond. We both adored Ngala Tented Camp. On the one side, the feeling was really one of being very close to nature in the wilderness - more so that at Phinda Forest Lodge, our first stop. On the other, it seemed much more intimate with only...

Excellent setting. Warthogs, kudu and hyaena wander through the camp and an elephant drinks regularly from the swimming pool. Fine dining. Comfortable accommodations. &Beyond, moreover, has a laudable animal, land and people conservation ethic. A very good camp that I recommend highly.
