If it's for animal spotting, then September / October are quite good, because there isn't much water, but Tanda Tula has a great waterhole right near the camp - you can see it easily from the lodge - that draws in animals. We saw 26 elephants frolicking in it when we arrived (September). + Gazelle and other wildlife. It's also close to a river - so more animals. But nothing is guaranteed.
