We stayed at La Dona Luz for two nights this past weekend. I booked the room based on the affordable rate, lower than most other B&B's in the area, and convenient location. Overall, it was a nice experience. Our room (Santiago) was spacious and filled with interesting pieces from Spain. It was comfortable and clean, though a little crowded because...

The room was very nice on the second floor. The breakfast was really good too. We like to mountain bike and this was a great location! We could also walk into town. I would recommend it for sure. They made a lot of use out of a cramped space

This was my second time at La Dona Luz. I returned because it is so delightfully unique, and so wonderfully located within walking distance of most of Taos. Paco has been creating one-of-a-kind rooms in this historic home for decades; his passion for what he is doing is evident in the distinct personality of each space. My husband and I...

We spent 2 nights at La Dona Luz in the bright and sunny Sonrisa room. There is an easy walk up an outdoor flight of stairs to the second floor where this room is located. (Note: 3rd floor rooms require a walk up a narrow spiral staircase.) This B&B would be especially inviting for artists and fans of the local...

My husband and I just spent 4 nights at La Dona Luz and I'm afraid we were terribly disappointed. There were some good things, the decor, atmosphere, perfect location to the plaza & activities. We stayed in the cute La Luz suite up the tiny spiral staircase, a tight squeeze, but we knew that when we reserved the room. The...

Situated right in the middle of Taos, very friendly host. We had the Rainbow room, wich have its own private hot-tub at the roof, we loved to sit at night under the stars in the tub. The raibow room is a lovely room with lot of interesting art. The breakfast was however a little uninteresting, stale bagels, and not very...

We stayed 3 nights at the Rainbow Room, and it was just gorgeous inside. Loved the art displayed throughout the suite, as well as the rooftop hot tub! The host was SO gracious, especially given that we arrived well after our planned arrival time. The food was good, and the atmosphere just wonderful.

My husband and I stay at La Dona Luz every time we take a Taos getaway weekend. Paco is a fabulous host- remembers us no longer how long it has been between visits. The inn itself is absolutely beautiful, packed with history, and each room has its own unique and special character. Breakfasts are always terrific- fresh hot waffles, fresh...

I cannot imagine going to Taos and staying anywhere else. I had a wonderful time on my solo trip here, and am greatly looking forward to coming back soon with my fiancee. The owner, Paco, and his staff are very kind and welcoming. They have loads of interesting stories, if you ask, and are very happy to lend any help...

This was our 3rd time to stay at La Dona Luz. Each time has been a wonderful experience. Paco and his concierge, sorry I forgot her name, are wonderful, open and inviting. Even though my wife and I did not meet for breakfast as we were headed to the slopes, the aroma from the kitchen was delicious. Paco has done...
