Dirty, beyond dated, window coverings had to be patched by my spouse, strange comings and goings of maintenance (?) or cleaning (?) persons, bathtub faucet barely holding on, heavy traffic on busy and noisy street, tobacco smoke saturated furnishings - just a total mess!!! We would have left if we had not been so exhausted from nights of camping and...

I wish I had read previous reviews before we booked this motel. We also were given a suite, which was roomy. The plumbing was really bad. Both of the vanity sink faucets were very hard to turn on (and off). My wife had a terrible time with them. The rain shower head had no pressure whatsoever, the water dripped off...

Pleasant stay at Sun God Lodge, Taos, NM during Memorial Day Weekend trip to Red River Bike Run for 2016 and will do it again in 2017! The rooms were clean. The location is in a quiet part of town. It is close to restaurants and the staff was very helpful. The management was courteous and gave us a great...

We planned a trip to Taos at the last minute and on a budget. We were hopeful that the Sun God Lodge would fit our needs but understood it was not a 5 star hotel. The location was good for us, we could get around to restaurants and attractions easily, it was about 25 minutes to the ski resort. The...

We have stayed at the Sun God Lodge numerous times over the years. Unfortunately, it is really starting to get run down. The grounds are not being kept up, the buildings are literally falling apart, and the cleaning of the rooms is sub-standard. We were just there a week ago and one day our room was not cleaned at all....

Made a reservation for late September, 2016 in March, 2016. Day before my arrival date I was texted to tell me my room reservation was cancelled because they had overbooked. When I called for an explanation the clerk hung on me.

This was a nice hotel in it's day. With a little bit of work it could be great again. The room was clean. The clerk that worked the desk was very helpful. No air dryer in room but he managed to find me one Thank you, Very very cute hotel.

We were booked at $79 a night and after examining the room we checked out and checked in elsewhere for $49 a night and the rooms were the same quality. Both were reasonably clean and about the same age. If the clerk could have matched rates we might have stayed with our original booking but that was not the case.

Being from Taos, I usually stay with family, but this was a quick business trip and I wanted a inexpensive one night place. I had stayed here when I was very young also and I must say it hasn't changed much..good and bad. The first room had a serious leak at the base of the toilet. Moved me and the...
