Nice man but facility is not taken care of mainly because he is blind and I believe at once it was a nice place but he just can't keep it up like he use to. Bathrooms were "okay". WiFi hardly worked and there is no stream. It's dried up but if you want away from the city, you will get...

Those who pass on Sierra Village are missing out. Straddling the Rio Fernando de Taos, a delightful little stream, the actual campsites are located behind a curtain of treeson the south side of US highway 64. You wont find tons of asphalt and concrete but rather a natural setting with all the amenities most folks will need including water, electricity,...

We planned on rving at Sierra RV park. We drove thru the park and left like a roach when the lights turn on. Very narrow spots. The month was June and there was only one tent to the right section. I would not feel comfortable left alone there. My husbands say not fair to rate since we did not stay....

I was hesitant to book a stay after reading the reviews on here. My fears were unfounded. This place is a little gem. Its about 10 minutes away from the main part of Taos. It has full hookups for RVs (up to 50 Amps), and nice secluded spots for tent campers and smaller trailers. I took a 35 foot trailer...

As we were driving east of Taos, looking for a motel or campground to spend the evening at, we spied this place. We pulled in and a booked a campsite for the evening, finding the owner very pleasant and friendly. Being the slow start to the season we were told to pick any site, which we did. Being in the...

Great RV park!! Nice contrast to the other RV parks in the area where you feel you are parked in a parking lot with no privacy. Sierra Village has more private camping areas with many trees! This RV park is near Carson National Forest and only about 3-4 miles to Taos Plaza. There are nature trails up the mountain and...

This place has pros and cons. I live in New Mexico and its hard to find camp grounds with trees. This is a nice little park that has seen better days. The place needs some work but as the owners is a very sweet and genrerous older gent I do not think he will be putting a lot of money...

This little RV park has a "you are welcome" ambience. The owner is a sweet, knowledgeable man whom you feel you have known your entire life. Granted, it needs a little facelift, but everything works, and works well. We particularly enjoyed the no cell phone aspect. The canyon drive is breathtaking, and the location is easy access to anywhere in...

We were really torn about where to stay near Taos.... We wanted pretty, not treeless, so we decided on Sierra Village despite the bad reviews. Truly, choices are limited for camping near Taos! I would definitely not say "the worst ever." But it wasn't good, either! We wanted to like it, as the dear man who runs/owns it is so...

Looking at web site you would think you are going to a 5 star rv resort. It was the exact opposite. A badly neglected, run down, small sites, the web site says it will accommodate 40 motor homes. That's not true I could hardly get in and get the hell out of there with my 30 ft motorhome. Water, sewer...
