We met another couple here for a mini-reunion. The Innkeepers could not have been more hospitable, with great flexibility for breakfast and many recommendations for activities during the day. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. We typically select the least expensive room on the assumption we can upgrade if we have made a mistake. While our room was a...

Thank you so much for the kind review and for letting others know that Hacienda del Sol is truly an oasis in Taos. We love assisting guests find the right fit of activities, experiences, and places to eat. Our biggest satisfaction is when visitors return (again and again). We hope to see you again in the near future!

We live in Santa Fe and have taken a number of weekends in Taos. We've stayed at bed and breakfasts as well as hotels. This place puts them all to shame. The rooms are fantastic ... truly fantastic. The location is better than anything we've seen ... and the perfect balance of attention and privacy completes the package. There is...

TravelingStevie, Thank you for such a glowing review! I'm exactly like you when it comes to painting, I can see why some many artists set up shop here in Northern New Mexico but I'm just going to have to watch them, as I can't paint either! Hopefully we'll be your home away from home on your next visit to Taos!...

This was a great place to stay, practically adjacent to the Taos Pueblo. Our room was delightful - wood burning fireplace, New Mexico style decor, and an amazing breakfast cooked to order by our host. It's also adjacent (as in "you can walk there" to an amazing restaurant, The Love Apple (see separate review). One caveat - not the fault...

Thank you for staying at the Hacienda del Sol. We are so happy you chose to stay with us and enjoy our hospitality. The Love Apple is certainly a great benefit to staying here as they are within a short walk and one of the best restaurants in town. It is frustrating to us as well when guests come specifically...

We stayed a week to enjoy the area around Taos. A perfect choice. Innkeepers made fabulous breakfasts, did their best to answer questions and to give recommendations, were personable, and were professional. We were in the Cowgirl Room...large, 2 chairs, view of Mount Taos, whirlpool bath and separate steam/shower, and kiva fireplace. The common rooms were decorated nicely and were...

Thank you for staying with us and enjoying a wonderful week in Taos. Wine in the courtyard gazing at Taos Mountain is what our guests love and now you can hear Patrick, our innkeeper, playing guitar and entertaining on certain evenings.

Had a very nice stay over the New Year Holiday. The property is extremely clean, with very comfortable rooms around a lovely courtyard. Easy drive to the ski slopes and downtown Taos. The highlight of any stay is a great morning breakfast to fuel the guest up for whatever activity might be on his agenda for the day. My primary...

Thank you for staying with us and enjoying our property. To address the pet friendly issue, our inn was never pet friendly in the past with the previous owners but we felt we should open up 2 of our guest rooms for those traveling with their dog. We were not very experienced so we called around to see what others...

My wife and I just finished a four day stay at this lovely bed and breakfast. The host family is lovely and the breakfasts were very yummy. Our "cowboy" room was perfect for us and was spotlessly cleaned each day. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Taos!

We just arrived home from our stay at the Hacienda so we saw it in snow and bare trees but true to Taos the light from the setting sun lit the bare trees with a golden glow that was most appealing. We stayed in the Rio Grande room and found it delightful. Mark and Erica and toddler Brogan were perfect...

If you are looking for charming this is the one! Our Suite had vigas and a kiva fireplace, Saltillo tile, Talavera tiles in the bathroom beautifully decorated! Breakfast's served every morning from 7am to 9am, the food was very fresh and of high quality. You get a choice of a sweet or savory plate with fresh coffee and juice.

This B&B is located on the north end of Taos, just far enough away from the congested main square. It is adjacent to the Taos Pueblo. The grounds and the haciendas are quiet, peaceful, very beautiful and spotlessly clean. The friendly young couple who manage the property do everything to make your stay easy and enjoyable, and also prepare a...

Got some referrals from others and well worth the effort. What a nice couple to run the property...and the little one fascinated with dinosaurs! Just fell in love with the experience! Small rooms but rest of the property was great. Sat outside and read and enjoyed the sunshine...
