My wife and I have been to Los Pinos Guest Ranch 4 times now. Rustic, comfortable cabins, quiet beautiful surrounding forest and a babbling Pecos river down the hill. And wonderful meals including a 5 course evening meal. Plus great hiking nearby.

This was my first opportunity to stay at a dude ranch aka guest ranch. When I chose this place over a dozen others in various states, I knew what to expect. I wanted to stay at a relaxing, serene, rustic ranch with horses. The highlight of my stay was my ride on Cochise; a

Nestled in the midst of the Santa Fe National Forest, with the gentle sound of the Pecos River to lull you gently to sleep. One of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. Meals were delicious and our host Alice was charming and a wealth of local lore. The trail riding

Wonderful guest ranch that's been owned by the same family for years. It's a great place to get away and unplug. Hiking trails near by and great views everywhere. Kids really enjoyed visiting with the horses. Thanks for all wonderful things you did for our family We will be back

"Cold at night, and no heater. Fireplace only, and you make your own."
"Each cabin is unique, but all are comfortable with lots of room, hot water, electrical outlets, and deep old-fashioned bath tubs."
"All cabins that are in use are well maintained. There are several buildings not in use that have seen better days. I would love to see someone younger take over this place and bring it back to it's former glory as I'm afraid that when Alice and her brother can no longer take care of Los Pinos, the government will buy it and remove the buildings. A sad thought for such a lovely and historic place!"
"We have stayed in two of Los Pinos cabins, each quite commodious, rustic, charming. Each cabin has a private bath, added to the original cabins which were built at the turn of the last century."
