Fantastic safari lodge located on the Mkuze River in northern KZN. The lodges themselves are very comfortable and spacious. Fully functional although wifi a bit patchy. Animal sitings are superb and we saw all the Big Five, plus cheetah. Safari guides are excellent and they offer walking safaris too. Food is very good. Hospitality excellent. Well worth the detour to...

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this lovely review we really appreciate it and the fact that you recommend us for future travellers. The wifi is a never ending challenge in the bush, as is all technology. We have had endless experts come through and have erected various dishes etc. If we could convince someone to...

Our trip to the amakhasi safari lodge probably was the best trip of our lives. My husband Bill and I along with our best friend Jeff, decided we wanted to achieve one of our bucket list dreams beginning in 2016. We ended up booking a flight to Johanasberg and driving to the well praised Amakhasi lodge. When we arrived, we...

The Safari drives are great as their over a variety of terrain you get to see lots of different animals. The stop...

The lodge is very luxury, delicious breakfast, fine high tea and a great dinner. The game drives are the best. We had a very good ranger Zicco and a good tracker King . They did everything to find the big five for us. We did several game drives before we came in amakhosi , these were the best ones.

Done a few safaris before and each has been great. This location is out on its own geographically and experience wise. It is a relatively small private game reserve but still has more than enough wildlife to keep you amused.
