This is a nice enough place to stay and did the job for us needing a, place in the Cederberg area at the last minute, but would probably stay elsewhere next time. The hosts are welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was great. But the rooms were not. The terrace is on the main road, the water was cold in...

We spent one night here and wished we could've stayed longer! We had one of the courtyard rooms- perfect amenities (water boiler with tea/coffee, stocked fridge, air con, fan, etc). The courtyard was also beautiful. Breakfast was wonderful. There was a buffet with yogurt, homemade muesli, various cereals, fruit, coffee, tea and you could order things from the kitchen such...

We found this Guest House on the web and selected a Courtyard room. The room was very spacious and well appointed and looks on to a modest but quiet courtyard. We also had a full breakfast which lived up to its name.

When entering Blommenberg Guest House you are entering a beautiful inner garden to which all the rooms are facing. The rooms are nice and of good standard. And the breakfast is rich and tasty. It is easy to recommend anyone to stay at Blommenberg Guest House.

My research suggested that the Blommenberg Guest House was the obvious place to stay in Clanwilliam, and I was not disappointed. The service was very friendly and helpful, and the hot weather (the room has aircon) even tempted me to use the swimming pool! I came up from Citrusdal and spent a day each in the Northern and Southern sections...

My husband booked here as a suprise for our honeymoon road trip. I loved the courtyard set up, with all the rooms facing onto the swimmingpool. At night the courtyard is lit up and is lovely. The room was very nice with air con, ceiling fan(which ARE needed in the Summer)fully stocked fridge, flat screen tv and comfortable bed. The staff were...

Nice central place. Mattresses were just way too cheap. We stayed two nights but the not because of them. The operators/owners were nice folks who tried there best. Breakfast was nice and well organized. A great three star place. Great location if looking for the Protea Seedeater / Protea Canary.

Blommenberg is the typical B&B. The rooms are OK. Nothing fancy but good. The breakfast is basic. The service as well. It is a good location for a 2-3 nights stay. Recommendation by the receptionist for restaurants in Lamberts Bay and Clanwilliam very good. Staff is very freindly and helpful if needed.

On a trip to see the spring flowers in August 2013 we spent a very comfortable and most enjoyable night at this ideally situated B&B. As you enter Clanwilliam it is situated on the right hand side making it very easy to find. The parking is ideal and the layout of the B&B is very attractive, with rooms situated around...

We just returned from a brief, impromptu trip to the Cederburg mountains and stayed at the Blommenberg Guest House in Clanwilliam. First off, if you arrive in June-August be prepared that much of the accommodation in town will be closed and if you arrive on a Sunday, as we did, be prepared not to find any place to eat--all closed....

“We were in a family room on the road side. It was a bit noisy in the morning from road traffic which we didn't really care about since our kids wake us up so early anyway. But if that is a problem you may want to get two interior rooms instead.”
