I loved it very much. It is easy to find, not far from the Cape Town, yet also completely away from the madness of city life and traffic. Excellent, excellent service. And so completely right in the middle of nature.

Large, comfortable 2 bedroomed cottage in the Ceres mountain. Lovely walks, the bushman painting walk is amazing. We sat and braaied under the stars and felt as if the rest of the world didn't exist. Relaxation and fresh air what a pkeasure

We really enjoyed yet another great weekend at Traveller's Rest. Like everywhere else in the Western Cape the drought is really biting there, but the cottage was cool and restful. Yes, there were flies outside - they're also a consequence of the drought, you should see them in Cape Town! - but with the slightest breeze they disappeared. The rock...

The farm house we stayed in was really stunning. The water pressure was a bit low, but not tragic. BUT we went on the San rock art trail and it was really not a fun experience. Don't get me wrong, the rock art was AMAZING and the historic relevance just bowls you over. But so do the rocks you have...

Pros: Six of us spent four nights in two cottages. They were comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. Clean linen and towels are provided, and the air-conditioning in the bedrooms was welcome. The Sevilla Rock Art Trail is well marked and the paintings are well worth a visit. Buy a copy of Slingsby's Guide at the shop, to...

Thanks for a lovely stay at Traveller's Rest. The area was quiet, mountains scenic and cottage spacious with a fantastic outside braai and patio. We especially enjoyed walking on the property, climbing rocks ending with a dip in the pool to cool off.

Roomy farm type cottage well fitted for all we needed and more. Beautiful peaceful location at the end of a small river valley - great to sit outside in the shade of an acacia tree dripping with weaver nests and with resident fairy flycatchers ! The Sevilla trail makes a good walk ( early in the day before it gets...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay as we always do. Thank you Charite and your well organised teams! We sincerely hope that it rains soon and that the veld will recover. When then dam at Hoek sonder koffie fills up can we put some yellowfish into it? It is the most beautiful spot at sun set.

Travelers rest's accomodations are cozy, well equiped and very confortable. The beds are awesome. We stayed at one of the cottages. The owner, Charite, is very lovely and kind, she helps climbers get the best experience possible! The place is beautifull and amazing!
