Our 4th visit to this beautiful nature reserve and guest house. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Bed and breakfast is brilliant value and once we get settled we always stay in for dinner too. Only locally/sustainably produced food is served. And go for the Lomond wine - it's the vineyard across the dam in front of you!

This place is a little gem in the hillside. Seriously beautiful open plan rooms in the Fynbos suites - the architecture is such that you feel like you're the only people nestled in the vegetation completely away from civilisation, even though the other suites are fairly close and the farm itself is just off the main road. The suites have...

We stayed for 1 night at this place, we had fynbos suite no3 , which was (as requested) the furthest away from the house. Very peaceful setting, great suite (although missing a fridge), plenty of windows offering great views. Horses are roaming around freely, we saw plenty of tortoises wandering around. Good size pool too. We did a hike up...

The owner was fantastic as were the furry friends. This is an ideal remote place to get away from it all, and I am grateful for the two nights of being able to unwind. Not a drop of rain (which I understand is a problem) and the views are to die for!

The ´fynbos-suites´ in the Farm 215 are huge bungalows in the middle of the nature, There´s a huge balcony (over the whole length of the bungalow), the view over the fynbos to the mountains and the sea is a dream. The space between the three suites is huge and guarantees absolute privacy and quiteness. We had also the chance to...

Our stay at Farm 215 started by turning our Homestead room into the hair and makeup station for myself and my bridesmaids on the morning of our wedding. Their was ample room and the room provided lots of natural light which was key. My husband and I then stayed for two nights to kick off our honeymoon. Our room was...

I support the conservation ethos of this establishment, one of my key reasons for staying there. It's expensive, but because you feel this is contributing to improving biodiversity and conserving local flora and fauna it feels easier to pay the cost... just! Fynbos Suite 1 would be my recommendation for a room - great views and not too far from...

Had an amazing 3 night stay in one of the Fynbos Suites. Secluded, peaceful and beautiful views all around. Love the fact that the owners of the farm are conservationists, and working towards rehabilitating endangered Fynbos flora of the region, and protecting the local wild animals. Horses roam freely in front of the suites, which makes a wonderful sunset experience!...

Our beach ride with the African Horse Company was incredible. Howard was more than accommodating with my questions and our change of day last minute. As a very novice rider i was worried about 3 hours in the saddle but the gentle pace was perfect and the horses knew what they were doing. We went from Grootbos Private Nature Reserve...
