If you have the chance to do this, do it. Our guides were Leo and Robison and they were phenomenal! We were able to see way beyond what I was expecting.Lions are a rare sight to see and Leo and Robbi worked to find us them not just once, but multiple times. Elephants come right next to the jeep and...

We left Victoria Falls for a tented safari through Botswana, starting at Kasani in Chobe, through to Savuti, Moremi and ending at Xudum Lodge in the Okavango Delta. I can honestly say that it was the trip of a lifetime, life-changing and the most wonderful experience. We had our own guide, Katembo, who was incredibly knowledgeable and who was unstinting...

This camp is run by 'And Beyond' a fantastic company with ethical credentials that we have travelled with before. We stayed two nights which will remain in the memory for a long time. We are not campers and in our 70's so were a little nervous but we were looked after so well. We have given it full marks for...

We left Victoria Falls early morning, to travel to Chobe. the first circus was the border with Botswana. It appears these countries have little to do , so they create inconveniences for all who wish to enter their country. We were fortunate that we had a very experienced tour director from Scenic, and she had us through the border in...

Having come from the Delta, this bush camp was a bit of shock at first - very dusty and barren looking. However we soon learnt to not be influenced by first impressions. The game viewing down by the river plains was great, two different leopards, lion, lots of ellies and antelope and also a honey badger as well as the...

We spent two nights at Chobe Under Canvas, an &Beyond camp. The service and food were wonderful. It was very special to hear lions roaring nearby as we ate dinner under the stars. During the night, we heard elephants eating near the tents and other animals walking near the camp. Animal sightings were unbelievable. We could sit in one spot...

We selected a range of different lodges for our four week tour in Southern Africa, and the tented safari in Chobe National Park was the most basic, and cheapest. These are real tents - two person tents without any ablutions. The camp itself has one chemical toilet, and a bush shower. One does not venture out of the tent once...

“The tents are all pitched in a circle and at least at the site we were in there didn't seem much of a difference between them. Although the conditions were dry and dusty the rooms were kept clean and comfortable.”
