My wife and I spent 3 glorious days and nights at Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero. As we departed, we both felt this was our best experience at any hotel/lodge ever. We were on a 4 week tour of South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Botswana and Chobe Chilwero was the last stop before we headed home. We definitely saved the best for last....

Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero was the last stop of our three week experience in Africa and we were not disappointed. From the moment we pulled up in front to the serenade from the staff until the minute we left it just was one of the best experiences we have ever had. The individual lodge's were more than comfortable, the game drives...

2 outstanding nights at the lodge. Service excellence from all the staff, singing to welcome us and local dancers to entertain. Excellent food prepared by their superb chef. The game cruises were the highlight late afternoon. Luxury accommodation just the cherry on top of this top drawer game lodge. Look forward to coming back

What an amazing stay in Botswana. After a rather dubious turn off the main road with no sign posts as to where we were going, we were a little concerned. No need to be what so ever! A beautiful welcome song by most of the staff gave us a lovely tingly feeling, I decided I already loved the place. Nothing...

The main area commands fabulous views over the Chobe River which borders Chobe National Park to the north. As well as the elephants for which the park is famous for, guests can relax in the split-level swimming pool, unwind with a pampering session in the spa or enjoy the gourmet food that the lodge has become known for. Each of the 14 thatched guest cottages has two showers, one inside and one outside. The ensuite bathroom also has a large free-standing bath. After a day of game viewing, what better way to relax than in your own private garden with a cocktail? Or if the fancy takes you, why not have your gourmet dinner served right here under the African sky. Coffee stations are now available for guest use in the rooms. Our honeymoon suite at Sanctuary Chobe Chilwero features a private plunge pool and deck area where guests will be able to enjoy private dinners for two under the stars (weather permitting) and special turn downs every night.
