We stayed for 2 nights at the end of an 11 night safari tour. It was wonderful. Friendly, comfortable, nothing was too much trouble, showers were great, good water pressure with plenty of really hot water and the food was great. Particularly loved the flexibility of activities which meant it wasn't regimented. Great rooms with views into Namibia. Staff were...

I have wanted to spend time in Botswana since I started reading "The First Ladies Detective Agency", a series of books about the every day life of a woman detective in Botswana, well over 20 years ago. This past October/November I finally got there and hated to leave. Traveling with my favorite travel companion we spent 3 weeks between Zimbabwe,...

I was here in the green season, so my prices were less than what you pay in the dry season. The safari lodge overlooks the Chobe River valley and you can see game in...

The safari guides are probably some of the best in Botswana, they know everything about the wildlife to find animals and they definitely transmit their passion...

The highlight of Muchenje is the full day outing which includes a few hours on the Chobe River by boat complete with picnic lunch and a slow ride by vehicle back to the lodge along the floodplains - be prepared for a long day but its worth it! While on the boat we were treated to tons of elephants feeding...

lovely people, lovely food, lovely accommodation. Mr B you were a fantastic driver (even though you were very fast!!) highlight for me was the boat trip when we had lunch with about 60 ebbits (elephants) that were as close as 6 feet away.
