Another beautiful location with good accessibility to the wild-life again especially lions and kudu. Once more, the birds were amazing. and a wide variety all known and recognised by our guide, Calvin.

The location of Leroo La Tau couldn't have exceeding our expectations more. Hands down the best room of our two week trip to Rwanda and Botswana. Each and every staff member did such a wonderful job at making our 2 night stay one to remember. The lovely, cool swimming pool was a very welcome reprieve from the heat. We will...

Right on the Boteti River, the lodge bears witness to the daily struggle for survival of the desert-bound wildlife. This river is the only water source for miles; you can feel the desperation in those that finally makes it to the waters edge. The beautiful lodge rooms are spread along a kilometre of river front, so you'll never miss a...

Dear Rosanne C Many thanks for the in depth and detailed review of Leroo La Tau. It is absolutely a spectacular lodge. As you mentioned accommodation stretching along the river bed which offers a vantage point that ensures unsurpassed views of the river and the Makgadikgadi Pans to the east. Relaxing on the deck of your room and watching the...

I recently spent two weeks in Botswana travelling to five of the Desert and Delta Safari Camps. Without a doubt, this was the most spectacular place I could ever have envisioned when planning my trip. The Camp is located high over the Boteti River, just south of the Okavango. Arriving in early November, I settled in just before the arrival...

The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The location of the lodges, perched above the river with views across to the national park beyond is superb. Accommodation is good and so is the food with care around dietary requirements. Setting off by boat and zipping across to the safari vehicles was a unique experience, as was the...

This is the newest and best of the Desert & Delta lodges in Botswana with beautiful lodge accommodation high on the bank overlooking the river with grandstand views of elephant, giraffe, wildebeest, impala, and zebra all coming down to drink at various times of the day. We spent two nights at LLT at the end of our time in Botswana. It exceeded all our expectations. The views from our room (chalet) were spectacular; we saw elephants, zebras, kudus and impalas coming down to the river (which ran in front of our chalets). Our guide, Calvin, was very good; very knowledgeable, worked very hard to get us...

Dear maf123Tucson Thank you for choosing to stay with Desert and Delta Safaris. Spending time at Leroo La Tau, is always such a great experience, due to the massive numbers of zebras and other wildlife that make their way down to the water to drink. With the chalets situated higher than the water, this allows for great views and pictures....
