This hotel was really pleasant and as with most of the places we visited in Africa the staff earn this hotel 5 stars from me. Again it's not a 5 star hotel but being in the middle of a desert and choosing between this and...More

We camped there for one night. We arrived in the afternoon and had a chance to use the pool, it was great. The facilities are good and the bar is very enjoyable. One of the best campsites of our 2 weeks tour.

I desperately want to get up close and personal with meerkats - like I have seen photos of them standing on people as watch posts. Is this something I can do from Planet Baobab easily? If so, we have a 2 year old baby coming with us. Is it possible to take our baby with us on the meerkat experience? Would we need to organise the meerkat experiences in advance with Planet Baobab or a local tour company?
