we stayed here with friends for 4 nights, There are safaris and water trips included, though we did not see hordes of game we saw plenty of variety and lots of bird life on the water. We had a Mocoro trip which was so peaceful. The staff are amazing and it is so beautiful there. we had an elephant and...

Welcomed with a song from the staff. All staff extremely friendly and went out of their way to introduce themselves and to get to know our names. Dedicated guides for land and water based activities, very knowledgeable. Fantastic rooms, all directly on the water’s edge. Food excellent and frequent! Hot water bottles in the bed were a nice surprise on...

We have visited the Okavango Delta twice before and really enjoyed the diversity of wildlife and activities that it offers. This trip we decided to stay at Kanana Camp. It was very clean& tidy camp, with well kept public areas and tents, which were quite spacious and comfortable overlooking the waterhole. The camp was quiet during our stay, but we were...

Upon landing on the airstrip, we knew we were in for a most unique experience for our first visit to Africa. The staff, our lodge (aka room), the food, the drives, the water safaris (as we called them), each one was more fascinating than the previous and not to be out down by the upcoming. At our first "sundowner", I...

My wife and I were part of a family group of 9 who stayed at Kanana Camp on the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Having previously completed a day 2 safari on board a boat on The Chobe River, we were looking forward to our time on land. We spent 3 nights at the camp. Accommodation (extreme glamping!), food, staff and...

We were the first and only guests here when they reopened on March 1st after their annual break. It was a little weird but on the other hand we got undivided attention from all the staff! Simon, our guide, grew up in the Delta and was incredibly knowledgeable about the area from animals and birds to insects and plants. In...

We visited Kanana for the second time in November so lovely to be back. The staff are always so helpful and welcoming. Such a shame they have so little water at the moment we hope that Colin's rain dance had an effect! Thanks to Amos our excellent guide who worked so hard to find the animals we wanted to see....

Superb, so all these reviews are 100% correct ! From the second our Cessna landed at the Kanana airstrip, to the moment we boarded the flight out, we enjoyed levels of staff attentiveness second to none. Met by our guide Owner with a comfortable Landcruiser Safari vehicle, the safari started ! After a 30-minute mini-safari we arrived at Kanana Camp...

The fist time I visited Kenana Camp in the Okavango Delta was in 2006. Since then I have visited about 5 times. Most recently in December 2015. What strikes me the most is how the camp has been able to maintain quality over all these years. The is NO request that is too difficult or troublesome for the staff at...

The special draws of this location are the water based activities and the birdlife. Although the heronry was difficult to reach with the low water levels, when we were there, it is worth effort. Spectacular viewing of large numbers of birds returning after feeding, with many open young mouths awaiting them. Backing this up with navigating the hippos and relaxing...
