We arrived here from Kanana Lodge and were again for a day or so (of the two nights here) the only guests. Our “tent” was close to the main buildings but the whole place has a lovely feeling of remoteness, though the airstrip is fairly close to the camp. Game viewing was excellent and we saw different animals from those...

A great place to stay in the Okavanga Delta!! This lodge is so isolated and you really feel like a pampered guest in a special place. It is safe, but right in the bush. The accommodations were excellent and the excursions were also amazing. Our guide was knowledgeable and very accommodating. He was a great tracker. The delta is a...

I took my kids to Shinde after being in other safaris. The amount of wildlife we saw was absolutely incredible, nothing like before. The service, the staff, the rooms and the accommodations were simply great. This is a place to go, relax and enjoy.

Little did I know of what I was going to experience when I arrived.. A variety of activities, lots of guest caring staff, yummy kitchen..all in all a very organized Camp. The Pool might be a little far out, but the Pool is not Shindes strong point. Its the location and structure amongst the large canopies of the local trees...it...

Great place to stay if you're looking to be in the Okavango... Doesn't get any better than this! The staff is wonderful and the wildlife viewing is world class. We saw lions, leopards, elephants and even wild dogs (a rare scene anywhere on the continent)!

I was very impressed by the staff at Shinde Camp. We arrived in the afternoon with my team mate and we were on educational trip. Our guide was waiting for us and he briefed us before we had to the camp. The drive to the camp was lovely one and we saw general game on the way. tents were very...

This is a nice, simple and well integrated camp. We stayed with 2 couples of friends in the "small" camp (Shinde enclave). It is a group of 3 tents at the far end of the main camp, with private dining and lounge area. I found the main area of the camp to be more interesting, with multiple areas for drinks...

As we arrived the lovely staff sang a song of welcome in front of the camp - and there was an elephant feeding just outside our "tent". Our food was excellent too - throughout - as was the hospitality of everyone there. The guides, especially Tony, were superb. Our last night was made extra special with a surprise dinner -...

Just returned from 2 nights at Shinde, our first camp, before moving on to Okuti and Kanana - Ker & Downey's sister camps. All I can say is 6 star!! After traveling regularly into the Okavango and experiencing many camps over many years, this was by far the best. In fact all 3 of The K&D camps were 6 star....
