We spent a few days in Selinda Camp in early March 2017. The quality of the accommodation, the location and the guiding were exceptional. But the ingredient which set the experience apart was the wonderful friendliness and hospitality of all the staff, which made our visit particularly enjoyable

If you're going to this camp, it's for the flora, fauna and scenery. You won't have cell service, and the wifi may be spotty, but did you come all this way for a regular holiday? We saw almost everything we wanted to see. The team worked with our guides to ensure we didn't miss anything. I recommend an evening with...

An amazing camp. This is a beautiful setting and once again being the low season there were not many guests. After being picked up at the airstrip by my guide Parks we went straight to see some cheetahs that were feeding – so that was a great start to my stay. Here we also saw wild dogs and leopards and...

12 of us visited Selinda Camp and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were warm and welcoming - Noxy, Bessie, Maggie, Gerard, Michele, and I'm forgetting them all. It was a different experience than at Duba and so was nice for comparison. The food was excellent! Our guides were fantastic. Obie was so friendly and we rode with...

Selinda was the second camp we visited after our four nights at Duba. The differences in the site as well as the game were interesting. The entire staff welcomed us as we pulled into the camp, making us feel special. As a group of 12, we had the entire camp to ourselves. It was like our own little world. Spike...

The lodge is way out in the only reachable by plane. It is beautifully located in front of a river having water all year. The pool, public and meal area are excellently placed as a kond of platform with great views and Uthentic African-Botswana style decoration. The greatest item is the well stocked and cooled wine cellar. Great views and...

My wife and I spent 2 nights at Selinda camp during our honeymoon. What an amazing time!! I don't know if Selinda considers itself a luxury camp (I know they share a space with a more luxurious Zarafa camp), but it sure felt like it! The camp itself was beautiful. Each common area was better than the last. It had...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Selinda Camp looks out onto the Selinda Spillway, a unique seasonal waterway that links the Okavango Delta with the wildlife-rich floodplains of the Linyanti marshes. Selinda Camp's nine spacious tents (including a family unit) are tucked away into the natural vegetation with wonderful views of palm-studded floodplains. Each tent has an en-suite bathroom and veranda. The main area is attractive, cool and under thatch and comprises dining, lounge and bar areas with spectacular views. Set apart from the main area is the photo and art gallery next to the camp's 500-bottle wine cellar, open-air deck, plunge pool and traditional campfire area. The Selinda Spillway winds its way through the Selinda Reserve and forms a magnet for the wildlife of the region. The area is thus an all-year-round wildlife viewing destination with large concentrations of elephant, buffalo, antelope, lechwe, giraffe, zebra, kudu, cheetah, wild dog, lion and leopard, with excellent birding of over 300 species in both the marshes and the dry country. Morning and afternoon-into-night game drives in custom-built 4x4 Land Cruisers with Guided nature walks, boating and seasonal fly-fishing ... more   less
