Well, while we got lucky and got a spot off to the side by a beautiful stream, the rest of the campground looked like Bonaroo or a huge tailgating party. People were yelling and playing loud music loud into the night and even shooting off fireworks. If you're looking for a rowdy weekend and lots of adventures (they have easy...

Make sure you ask about the pool. We were just there this weekend and the pool was closed for construction. It doesn't look like it will be finished this season. We booked our group trip back at the beginning of this year and we were not told that the pool wasn't going to be accessible. We had quite a few...

Good Afternoon! I want to take a moment to extend an apology, as this is not the experience that we strive for here at Kittatinny. I want to thank you both for choosing us, and for your honest feedback. I apologize for your disappointment in regards to the pool being under construction. It is likely that at the time your...

We visited this campground for a weekend of kayaking with friends. This is an average campground and the vibe is not the same as a National Park campground for example. The campsites are clean but very close to each other. I found the men's bathrooms relatively clean (same applies for women's bathrooms). I also have to add that the campground...

I’m a very easygoing customer and I hate to write bad reviews. About the campground I do not have a lot things to say about it. You get what you pay for. It is OK! Camping sites were clean. I was lucky to be surrounding by families. We did not have any problem with loud noisy or wild parties. My...

I have to agree with others on the long waits here, I can't believe that they haven't streamlined their process after all these years, no need to go into further detail about this, others have laid it all out in their reviews but this past weekend might have been the last straw for me with kittatinny...I have been going to...

I went on an annual trip to Kittatinny Campgrounds at Barryville with around 40 friends. We stayed at a campsite along the Deleware River at what Kittatinny called "Luke's Landing". The nice thing about the riverside campgrounds is when you are done tubing down the river, the walk back to the campsite is incredibly short. The campsites have a running...

The only reason I didn't give this campsite a higher review is because they don't enforce the quiet time. I hardly slept the whole weekend. There was a group who were partying until after 1am and playing loud music. Even when it was time to pack up they had their junk playing loudly. As for the nature part - our...

After reading previous reviews I was very skeptical of what I was getting into. Our campsites were along the river which was nice but there were only a few overgrown pathways directly to the water. Campsites are clean with running water, picnic tables and 1-2 garbage cans per site. As expected from previous reviews there is no cell/wifi which is...

This place is beautiful but being a seasoned camper I should have known better when it said 20 people allowed per site.Rules were not enforced. People blasted music all weekend . The bathrooms were gross though the staff tried their best the guests were unruly and disgusting. The staff was great and really tried to clean things. Note to them...

My family and I have established an annual camping tradition that dates back to 1974, and we have stayed at or visited all the major campsites on the upper Delaware, and we can safely say that Kittatinny is by far the best of the bunch, and we will be coming back next year, and the year after that, and hopefully...

Thank You for your review, we value all our guests’ feedback. We are glad you and your family find our campground and facilities perfect for your annual camping trip. We like to hear that your group also enjoys taking their annual river trip on the same property, there is no place like the Delaware and bald eagle sightings make it...

“If you do decide to camp here (I wouldn't), be persistent in making sure that you are placed in a "quiet" area. When I complained to the manager (nice guy), he said that there is an area where the "experienced" campers are placed. I have no idea where that is, but I figure it was much more quiet than our spot.”
