On a road trip this past August and looking for a place for one night, I was lucky enough to book a stay at Mt. Beacon Bed and Breakfast in Beacon, NY. Owner Barbara was warm and welcoming from the start, especially considering that I arrived several hours later than what I'd said. It's a gorgeous home, and Barbara showed...

This past spring I stayed at the Mt. Beacon Bed and Breakfast and had a very enjoyable stay. The B&B is immaculate and the hostess is very nice. The breakfast was delicious also! Mt. Beacon B&B is a little over a mile walk from the Beacon Metro-North Station. The walk isn't too bad as long as you're not carrying a...

We stayed for two nights for a wedding anniversary. Barbara and Lauren were both extremely friendly and hospitable. We stayed in the French country room which was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The bathroom is on an adjacent landing but still feels private. The pool was a very nice addition as it was roasting hot. Breakfast was delicious - waffles...

I work for a chocolate company that has me travel a lot and my fiancé and I travel quite often as well so we have many experiences to reference from. I stayed at a Ramada close by that was very run down and I wanted out fast. I was also visiting in-laws and wanted a positive experience for my fiancé...

Lauren and Barbara are still wonderful! This is our second stay and we were equally as happy. They're more than accommodating to make sure everyone's stay is relaxing and enjoyable. My fiance has a picky palate, and they changed the entire breakfast menu to suit him. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bed is big and cozy. The old...

My husband and I stayed here and had a wonderful visit. The rooms are beautifully decorated and super clean. The nice amenities in the bathrooms were appreciated, and Barbara is a wonderful cook. Awesome breakfast. Close to main street and a nice walk to get there. Would recommend over any of the hotels in the area, including Roundhouse, which we've...

Just returned from a great two-night stay with Barbara and Lauren. Their B & B is beautifully appointed and maintained, and simultaneously comfy and cozy. We felt very much at home, and Barbara and Lauren did everything they could to ensure our well-being. There was always a lovely fire going, and a terrific breakfast served at a leisurely pace. Can't...

My fiancé and I stayed at this gorgeous bed and breakfast for two nights. Besides the warmth and comfort of the surroundings, Barbara's hospitality created an environment of total ease. I look forward to returning just to eat her scrumptious breakfast! Thank you for a perfect stay.

We stayed at Mt Beacon for one night -- Storm King on the way up, Dia on the way back. The house is over 100 years old, in great shape, and beautifully decorated. The in-ground pool on the property was a great way to relax after a long day. And breakfast was a high point! We stayed in the French...
