I have spent a few days at the Inn, November 2015 & 2016. Prices are lower and there are not many people in the park. The ice skating rink has public sessions only half the weekdays, the carousel and outdoor vending is closed on weekdays. This is not a problem since the trails are available 7 days a week, and... First of all, I must say that I've been coming to Bear mountain over the past few years, and the place continues to get more beautiful each and every time I visit the Inn. The newly renovated rooms with Lake & Mountain views are stunning. An additional perk to this great site is the "top notch" service that William and... More

My wife and I stayed one night on a thursday at the bear mountain inn.Very quiet and clean. Rooms are very cozy. Water pressure good. Restaurant 1915 was OK. Lunch was not bad but breakfast buffet leaves much to be desired. Ran out of food, silverware, etc and the staff didn't seem to have any sense of urgency to get it... More

This was out third time staying at the Inn. The last time we stayed prior to this past weekend was 3 years ago, and they have made some nice changes since then. They now offer a full service restaurant on weekends, and they have a lovely smelling spa that sadly I didn't use. The rooms are very clean and spacious,... More

We were on a family holiday in fall and wanted to add a bit of retail therapy. Location was excellent. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were of a very high standard and very spacious. Breakfast was good. The location next to the lake was excellent and we enjoyed a walk around the lake on a crisp autumn morning.... More

This is a beautiful place. There are very few rooms, but all have their own baths. There are 2 restaurants and your breakfast is included in your stay. It's in the Blue Roof Tappas Bar There is a lovely lounge area and a seasonal fireplace. It was too hot that day for a fire. The view of the lake is amazing!... More

Stayed in the Stone Cottages, difficult to find in the dark but then we are in the middle of nowhere. Room was small, bathroom very small and carpets dirty. Breakfast was very poor. Disappointing stay.

Visited with my wife and friends At this point I must say that we didn't stay at the Inn, it was a visit, however we all got very good vibes from our visit The building itself is amazing, set in a location to die for ( so to speak) We had what we English would describe as " afternoon tea"... More

For some reason I was thinking that rooms at the Bear Mountain Inn were minimal and rustic. So, imagine my surprise when I opened the door to a suite which had to be about 600 square feet. There was a large living area, large bedroom, and a large bathroom. It was all very, very comfortable. Note: We were in the... More

We attended a wedding here the weekend of 10/22/16 and stayed at the Inn. Despite some poor weather, we really enjoyed it. The hiking is supposed to be very good, even though we only walked around the lake. The food in the restaurant and bar was very good, and the overall ambience of the place was nice. Located right inside... More
