At DoubleTree by Hilton, we believe the little things mean everything when it comes to a great travel experience. An oven-fresh cookie is just the first of many welcome treats . Our in-room collection of CITRON by Crabtree & Evelyn products (available at many locations) is a great way to unwind after a long day. Our meeting spaces and staff are perfectly equipped to handle your business gathering. It will be a success from start to finish.

Our car broke down outside of town and we needed a place to stay at the last minute while waiting for the car to be repaired. They were so nice and accommodating. They were able to do early check in and were so nice. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Our car wasn't ready until after check-out and they kept our luggage until the car was ready. They helped us find local things to do and where to eat. Lovely hotel and wonderful staff!

The hotel is a nice Hilton Property . Spacious lobby, bar and restaurant and a huge fitness complex including heated pool, large hot rub and saunas , as well as an outdoor patio area with a couple of seating options. There are attendants at the fitness center which is also open to private outside memberships .you wont find the hot tub full of unattended small children and for me thats a big plus.

Our room with queen beds was comfortable and in good shape. The restaurant and bar were very convenient for dinner and drinks. Breakfast on Sunday morning was a different story. Note, this location has private events and has several banquet rooms and a lot of guests for breakfast .the breakfast crowd overwhelmed the staff and it was subpar. Steer clear of the omelette it’s tiny and flavorless. The home fries are oily and void of seasoning . My son enjoyed his waffle which came out with toppings he asked to omit and my forgotten sausage were likely deep fried and delivered later . Our waitress was very nice and the experience was quite a shock since dinner was much better.
Bottom line the staff was completely overwhelmed and we should have known better upon arrival.

Overall we would stay again but we will head out if breakfast is in the plan

I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the past three years. Every time the staff have always been professional and helpful and welcoming. They are the property's best asset. This visit the hotel is showing it's age. The main elevators were out of service. Fortunately the service elevator was working. The wallpaper and paint in the room were chipped and fading. Carpeting was worn out. The sun shining in the windows exposed the need to have the outside of the windows cleaned. The hotel policy of not providing housekeeping service, cloaked in corporate covid doublespeak is very lame. Just a way to reduce labor costs and increase shareholder returns. IMO. To recap, I really like this hotel and am always impressed by the staff members. They are what makes this place great. The physical property needs some work though.

I checked into the Binghamton NY Hilton Hotel and had high hopes for having a great stay as usual at your locations. I was deeply disappointed and disturbed by what happened at this hotel. Small issue first, my room was missing the alarm clock with the USB charger. Major issue is that one of your maintenance men was at the front desk while I was checking into the hotel and he heard the desk clerk give me my room number. I went up to my room and put the bolts on the door and proceeded to brush my teeth and take a shower. The same maintenance man along with another maintenance man opened my room door unannounced. They said they heard a vibration on the wall and did not know the room was occupied. One of them did lend me his phone charger. While hey were both very polite, I felt very uncomfortable that men are able to just walk into my room unannounced. I notified the front desk and was told that they were unaware that they were in my room. They didn’t have another room for me to move to and I was simply offered food credits for the inconvenience. Tabitha is the manager who I spoke with and she was very rude and inconsiderate of the issues. She also provided me with the wrong number to call corporate to complain about how she treated me. The maintenance man did a sink repair and then the lady who brought the clock wanted to fix an outlet. I wasn’t paying for a room under construction or a room with two men included in the package. I felt disregarded as far as my complaint and disrespected by the offer of food and drink credit. The black maintenance man was the one who was at the front desk and heard me get my assigned room. I assure you my complaint is not based on race as I am a black woman. I’m hoping that Hilton will treat me better than a free meal.

This was a very insulting experience. I’m so disappointed in the way this is being handled. I don’t feel like I’m valued as a customer.
I was offered a $39 credit. I feel very insulted
Sincerely
Natasha Fabiene

I stayed in a corner king unit. I am handicapped and parking was terrible. Only two designated spots in the closest lot are unacceptable. One of the elevators was under construction so it was either a long wait or a long walk to the service elevator.
The room wasn't the cleanest- a nail clipping on the carpet, hairs in the bathroom, mold in the sink. There were stains on the arm of the couch and the coffee table had stains and residue on it.
The bed was very good, the pillows were nice. The room was very dark! Frustratingly dark. Three small lights are not enough lighting. It was fairly quiet, but we were the corner room so that probably helped.
The television was a smart tv and had Youtube. There were no USB ports anywhere, unlike nearly every other hotel I have stayed in recently. There was a small refrigerator, microwave, and single serve coffee maker. All were in good working condition.
The check in cookie was a nice touch- especially because there was a gluten free version available so I could actually have it. The gym and pool looked very nice and superior to what is typically found in a hotel, however, I did not have time to actually use any of the amenities. My husband used the gym and said it was very good. The location was good, right near restaurants and nightlife.
Overall, for $450.00 per night, it was definitely NOT worth it. The room was mediocre, except for the bed, and could have been cleaner. I will not book here again unless there are no other good options available.

DON’T LET ALL POSITIVE REVIEWS FOOL YOU! PSA to anyone surfing hotel reviews: a lot will be good reviews, but in reality you get a filthy room. Stay clear from Hilton. Happened to me the entire trip. Very disappointed in Hilton. All Hiltons I’ve been to lately has been crappy. The rooms were filthy. Closet door handle had gunk on it, TV was filthy, the beds were made poorly and were messy, showing the lack of work by housekeeping in the room. Covers literally look like they were thrown on. The sheets were already slipping off when we entered the room including the fitted sheet. No effort put in making the beds. Shower is clogged and bathroom vanity is dirty. Toilet is dirty. Will never stay in another doubletree let alone another Hilton. Disappointed since I have been a Hilton member for over a decade. Marriott provides way cleaner rooms than Hilton now. Cancelling my other reservations for other Hiltons I had reserved. Don’t let all the positive reviews fool you. Not suggesting the positive reviews are entirely untrue. And all I see on the negative review is the owner apologizing, thanking for feedback, and saying that they will try their best to fix it (which none of the problems do get fixed or resolved, and housekeeping still sucks.)

If you are choosing between the DoubleTree or the Holiday Inn be advised the Double Tree is supposedly cleaner while Holiday Inn is closer to all the bar and lounges.

Right now both hotels seem to be experiencing a lack of body wash and at the DoubleTree they provide Dial hand bar soap to double as body soap. You are not provided with hand soap in your room/body wash. They do have shampoo and conditioner from Evelyn Crabtree & Co.

Also of note is that the hot tub is out of order. The pool is still operational as well as the sauna in the men’s locker room.

Room 702 is a double queen at the far right end even coming out of the elevator and faces the front of the hotel. The room has a Philips TV which may not power on. It took me sometime working the remote and the power button on the side of the tv panel but ultimately unplugging and replugging outlet to the tv made it work again. The exterior windows of the hotel have bugs and dirt stuck and need to be cleaned. The interior corners of the windows have cobwebs etc, and the phones and garbage cans had crumbs and drone in them.

The Hilton brand is providing service in rooms only when requested during your stay to minimize staff entry into your room since since covid became a concern, however, you should be aware that the hotel doesn’t have a mask wearing recommendation in shared space such as the lobby entry and there is no policy for staff to wear mask. It’s business as usual pre-covid. If you are vaccinated your risk is probably low, however if you are unvaccinated or traveling with kids, you might want to assess your risk and concern.

Otherwise, I do wish the hotel provided the late checkout benefit when available to the blue tier Hilton honors members instead of making it sound like it’s only available to gold and diamond tier members. It’s makes the benefit listed on the app sound arbitrary and this is based on late checkout being available. They just didn’t want to honor the benefit initially when it should be first-come first-serve. The Hilton app also won’t properly list your benefits at this location. If you want to use a digital key, you have to do the check in on the app, and it may or may not work properly according to the front desk.

Room was clean, a/c was cold and the cookies were warm. Unfortunately that’s the positives…. The pool that was advertised with the hotel was “closed for maintenance”, probably closed since covid times and they won’t update their hotel info or reinstate pool service. Unacceptable. Guest laundry for this extremely large hotel is one barely functioning washer and a less functioning dryer with an out of order washer/dryer unit sitting next to it. I ran my clothes in the dryer and after one full cycle were still wet. Thanks to the poorly functioning equipment I left my clothes at the hotel and have to pay an exorbitant amount of money to get my stuff back. The first time I have left anything in any hotel in the 5 years I have been traveling for work. Hotel also has the slowest operating elevator I have ever waited for. Believe it or not, the second elevator was…out of service, like the pool, dryer and some of the staff!! Unacceptable.

This hotel was great. We needed a one night stay on our way home from Florida and stayed here. The check in by 'Dave' was excellent, we arrived early and our room was ready. The room was perfect, very large, clean and well equipped. We had our little dog with us and the fee was very reasonable compared to some hotels that really gauge you. Parking was free and there was plenty of it right next to the hotel. Free coffee in the morning to get you on your way. Would definitely stay again.

The pandemic gave this hotel great excuses for not providing services or amenities. On a recent visit, the room rate was close to $300 per night. We were told the hotel did not provide simple amenities such as shower cap. The receptionist also advised us to purchase cotton buds and other basic supplies at the gift shop. They also required 24 hour notice if you need your room cleaned. Truly disappointing for the level of service offered in light of the high room rate. The elevators and the corridors were dirty. Overall service was poor and the reception staff were apathetic and unfriendly. Sorry this hotel should be avoided.
