I don't want to give too much away as I feel like I discovered something amazing! I have to start with management. Alene is lovely woman (Manager of the PPC) and a sheer pleasure to work with. The Oestreicher family - all of which are most gracious and entertaining - are all delightful people! David shared his extensive knowledge about...

We recently stayed at Prospect Point Cottages for our 2nd annual fall vacation. It is a beautiful place! The staff is outstanding!!! Very nice people, beautiful scenery. Complimentary brunch begins on Oct. 1, which is out of this world! Thank you Alene and staff. You guys are awesome! Only negative is that Carol is no longer there, though her spirit...

We loved our stay in Moose Lodge, at Prospect Point. It was even more beautiful than we had imagined. I envisaged 'On Golden Pond' peace and serenity and wasn't disappointed! Humming birds visited our porch regularly to feed from the nectar feeder - such a wonderful sight to witness. I enjoyed sitting on the end of the jetty in the...

The wheelchair accessible cottage was clean and roomy; for three people (two using wheelchairs) and a service dog. The grounds were beautiful and easy to get around (wished we could have had easier access to the lake as it was a fairly steep hill down). The staff were so gracious and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was a fantastic surprise. Lots...

Cottages are clean, well equipped, spacious and comfy. View is wonderful. Would easily come back and recommend to friends. Complimentary breakfast was fantastic - especially the beer batter pancakes. Lots of fantastic hiking in the area. Very close to Indian lake where there are lots of restaurant choices.

Just returned from a 5 day stay at Prospect Point Cottages. My husband and I stayed at the cottage called "Maple". It had just recently been renovated and I must say they did a phenomenal job!! The inside is just lovely and tastefully decorated. The outside is not done yet so don't let the looks of the exterior scare you...

Situated right on Blue Mountain Lake near the museum, our one bedroom cottage was Adirondack quaint, clean and had a nice size screened-in porch. Although close together, the cottages are situated for privacy, each with it's own campfire. Some cottages sit on the lake side of the property with only views of the beautiful mountains, while others sit on the...

My friends and I began coming to this little piece of heaven a few years back, when the Muskoka lodge where we'd been staying 1-2x/yr got new owner-managers who could not keep up the magic, warmth, and hospitality we'd come to expect. At the time, we were devasted to lose our haven, but now we know it was for a...

If you opened a dictionary to look up the meaning of heaven the entry would be "Prospect Point Cottages". I can't add much to what the other reviewers have said. The location is perfect. The cottages are beautiful and equipped with everything you could want. I could live here forever. It is not inexpensive but worth every penny.
