The simple life. We spent a night here and it was great. Beautiful location off the beaten path. Hiking trail very nearby. Just a few miles from town. Nice, quaint house. Very clean and cozy. Room was lovely. Met some cool people. Very accommodating host and the food was excellent. A great escape. Serenity and total peace.

We spent two nights with two small kids. The place resembles more to a museum, and the owners make it quite clear they don't really like kids. There were so many don't dos, and things we felt so uncomfortable, that we tried to spend as little time there as possible. It might be a lovely place for an older couple,...

A group of us spent a restful, relaxed, 3-day get away to fellowship with one another. We were allowed carte blanche with the portion of the building that was designated as the guest area. We had all the amenities that would have be afforded if we were in any one of the group members' homes; but with much more freedom...

We found this B&B by accident, and it was definitely a great find. The rooms & bathrooms were very nicely decorated, comfortable, and extremely clean. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Homemade waffles, fresh eggs, assorted muffins, fresh squeezed juice, and coffee. The owners were pleasant, and we will definitely be back! Located right in the heart of the...

As I checked out options for a one night stay on Seneca Lake, I was amazed at what many of the B & B's charged. The cost was very fair, the owner was willing to let us stay for only one night (most won't even talk to you unless you are willing to book two nights). We three adults took...

The rooms and bathroom were clean, and the food was adequate. The living room was a comfortable place to lounge, and wifi did work fine. There was a musty, old house smell that others complained about, but that didn't bother us. What did bother us was when the wife (don't know her name, we were never introduced) yelled at us...

I have stayed at several B&B's throughout NYS and the Red House is one of my favorites! Quaint, lovely, and peaceful--all the qualities I look for in a B&B. The proprietors were friendly, gracious, and accommodating. Chef Beanie served FANTASTIC meals! The house itself, along with its beautiful surroundings in the National Forest and close proximity to the Finger Lakes,...

This lodging opportunity is exactly what B&Bs are meant to be! It is quaint, removed from the hubbub of daily chaos, and is situated in the country, well removed from interference of social media. The owners are welcoming and uplifting. The food is wonderful. It is filling and nutritional, but not to a point that you ever feel you have...

Attended a retreat in November 2012, from Friday night to Sunday afternoon, with all meals provided, and the weekend was absolutely relaxing and wonderful! I have traveled the world over, and Chef Beanie made some of the best meals I have ever eaten!! The owners are friendly and available, but unobtrusive. The inn is clean and pleasantly decorated; one feels...

My stay at the Red House was the best weekend away. The Innkeepers are friendly compassionate individuals. My room was wonderful with warm flannel sheets as it was November. Beanie the Chef made an incredible breakfast and had cofffee on all day Saturday for us as we sat back and relaxed for the day. There are great places to go...
