My daughter and I were biking the Erie Canal. it was difficult to plan where we would want to stop for the night. We called the Window Box and they could not have been more accommodating to our situation. Both the place and the innkeepers were amazing. Our room was richly decorated in very tasteful and yet utilitarian style. It...

My husband and newborn, mother, best friend and I stayed at the Window Box for the baby's christening and could not have been happier. We took over the entire guest house and found it to be warm, impeccably clean and very comforting (especially with a wakeful newborn). They took great care of us and could not have been nicer. Highly...

A quiet and well-appointed B&B in the Mohawk Valley, the Window Box makes for a relaxing place to stay if you need accommodation in the area. This lovely B&B is situated on a quiet side street just off the main the street of Canajoharie, NY in the Mohawk Valley. We stayed here on our way to the Atlantic Coast, as...

I stayed at this B&B on a recent trip to upstate NY. It is very convenient to the New York State Thruway. This was my first time to stay at a B&B, so I have little to use in the way of comparison. The room was nice, attractive, and clean. There was coffee and other hot beverages available to make...

The White Clay Bicycle Club rented main house and most the second house. All of the rooms were wonderful! The beds were the best on our bicycle trip along the Erie Canal. Breakfast was ample. Wonderful waffles with lots of fruit, juice and sausage. Owners Tom & Patty went out of their way to accomodate diets and our needs. They...

Our recent one-night stay at the Window Box Guest House was very pleasant; the previous reviews are accurate. We stayed in the 1st floor room; it was spacious, comfortable, well furnished. It has a nice view of the Arkell Gardens across the street. The hosts, who live next door, were informative and helpful without being intrusive. The only caution I...

I have to reiterate the above. We stayed at the WIndowbox while exploring coopertown because couldn't get a place closer. The room upstairs is lovely, very clean, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and furnished so quaintly. I hated to leave. Breakfast is fine and Pat even asked if there was something which could make it better. I said whole wheat bread...

Stayed here on a Saturday evening to attend an opera at Glimmerglass and will definitively go back next year. It was on our way, coming from NYC, just off 1-90, a charming inn decorated in very good taste with expensive linen. Our hosts were very friendly and even lent my huisband a belt for the evening as he forgot to...

I can't think of a thing to improve. Now on my return trip from a 13 day road trip through NY and New England, the drive through the Mohawk Valley was enjoyable and informative as I stopped along the way to stretch and to read the historic plaques. I appreciated being greeted as I pulled into the driveway of the...

I stayed at the Window Box Guest House for one night and it was great! The Innkeeper was incredibly nice and helpful and the breakfast was delicious! The B&B was beautiful both inside and out and the room was spacious yet cozy. All around, I found this to be a great B&B.
