Ive stayed in many Marriotts before and never knew it or even suspected any such breech of privacy and I along with any one else would never even of known unless they got caught in the act or accidentally slipped and blurted it out like the manager did when I confronted her about the fraudulent charges added to the credit card bill the day before we checked out. I wish there was going to be a next time so I could set up a nanny cam in our room and catch them if they ever do it again. But now that our co found out that they admit going in our rooms when we were away for a few hours. They no longer want to put any one up in any Merritt esp being that we usually always have sensitive confidential paper work and info in our rooms that pertain to our work and now we are not even going to be allowed to leave any thing in our rooms, if we step out for even a minute. Its to risky esp when a lot of times it contains pass words and other info needed to access the computers and servers for the drug stores conversations we go around the county and do work work on. There are people out there that pay good $ for hotel staff to engage in corporate espionage and if any thing these higher end hotels that the co puts us up in are prob a much greater risk of if then at lower priced places that tend to have less business travelers.
