Glenmere Mansion is an oasis of European luxury a mere 1.5 hours out of the city. The service is impeccable, with butlers and hotel staff going out of their way to be helpful. Both restaurants are Michelin caliber. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms and public spaces in the mansion are perfectly appointed. The only drawback is that the... More

Spent several days in the Princess Suite -- impeccable layout, fireplace, view of Glenmere Lake and the phenomenal color change that happened to be at peak while there. This relatively newly-restored inn, once the home of one of New York's richest society scions, oozes class and comfort around every corner...inside and out. The staff is really interested in being of... More

From the moment we set foot in this magnificent location, we felt transported into another place. Who knew we would get this kind of service and fine dining experience only 15 mins away from home? Our family moved to the area from NYC and we are very glad we found Glenmere Mansion. I had the Long Island Duck breast and... More

As 2 couples, we visited Glemere Mansion for the day, arriving for lunch, We extensively made use of the lovely spa - extra comfortable and expertly staffed. Lunch in the courtyard was perfect - thoroughly delicious. We arrived by limo and returned by chartered helicopter. It was a glorious day.

My husband and I spent two nights at Glenmere for our five year anniversary. I had been anticipating the trip for months based on reviews. Spectacular property - quite frankly unlike any I have ever stayed. Fabulous attention to detail in furnishings, small touches, and service. Charles, Neil, Tom and Trevor will make you feel truly taken care of. Seamless,... More

Driving into the Glenmere was like finding a little gem in this area. We were greeted immediately by two young valet attendances, very professional. We were announced and taken to our table. Very personal service. Lovely table by the fireplace, lit with candles. Our server was very atenative. She gave us suggestions and new the menu quite well. A prix... More

My wife and I just finished celebrating our anniversary with an exceptional weekend spent at Glenmere Mansion. Words are not adequate to express what a wonderful experience this was. We felt as if we were in another world. It’s truly wonderful to get away, but it’s spectacular to feel “away”. Glenmere is well staffed with extremely well trained, attentive, courteous,... More

I have never been to a hotel that is as close to perfection and exquisite— from the outside in—as Glenmere. Its high-on-a-hill setting affords lush and expansive views. The landscape surrounding the house is groomed without sacrificing nature’s organic beauty. Upon arrival we were welcomed as though arriving home from a long journey. The staff is extraordinary; without exception each... More

We were only guests for one night plus spa treatments but were treated as VIPs. Luxury experience for those looking for a get-a-way in upstate New York. You may be looking at a map and wondering where it is - but it is worth the 1.5 hour drive from EWR or LGA. The spa is amazing the service is 5... More
