Charming and quaint. Asa Ransom House is what you picture when you think of a country Inn. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It is is very well kept. We got to visit all the rooms. Each room possessing it's own unique character. We stayed in room 10, the Country Garden Suite. To say it was picturesque doesn't do it...

Our entire staff appreciates and thanks you for your fine review. We have fine-tuned the Inn over our 41 years to meet each guests needs. Some guests seek a fireplace, some a porch to relax and enjoy the outdoor beauty, others a canopy bed. Jamie our newest chef joins Chester (here 42 Years) and Bill to create a winning team...

I took my sister for afternoon tea to celebrate her birthday and it was lovely! She has spent a lot of time in London and knows her afternoon tea. We spent two hours enjoying their tea with a nice selection of harney and sons. The homemade sandwiches, cakes, and scones were all delicious. We tried them all! The waitress Jessica...

We frequently visit Select Registry properties so we chose the Asa Ransom House when we were in the Buffalo area recently. Although I wouldn't describe it as luxurious, we really liked it here -- the staff are very welcoming and there is a coziness about the place that is very appealing. We had dinner in the dining room and it...

Thank you for your nice review of your stay. All of our ten rooms are of a different decor, which can match a persons taste. We always suggest a review of them on the web before selecting the winner. My apologies on the eggs, we will be much more careful (maybe an extra cup of coffee for us). We appreciate...

We recently went to this historically beautiful place for dinner and this charming place is an exquisite spot for dinner with friends, family or a couples getaway. The rooms are gorgeous and reminiscent of the early 1900's; a step back in time. We were here for the dinner theatre package-a five course meal complete with hors d'oeuvres, appetizer, salad, entree...

From first entering the establishment, to leaving in the morning, we enjoyed our stay immensely. We received a lovely fruit/cheese/cracker arrangement with a bottle of wine on arrival, and decided to stay for dinner. So relaxing, and beautiful surroundings, we will definitely be back. It is only 20 miles from the border, in a small quaint town, yet close to...

This Inn has been a frequent stop for us because we have so many friends and family in the area. The restaurant has an absolutely beautiful dining room. The table setting with fresh flowers and gas lantern lights is not a frequent touch you see today. The chef has been there for many years and the dinner was and has...

BeachFan711, Thank you for your review, we appreciate your visiting each time you pass through our area! Sorry about room 5, our only room that is adjustable from a twin to a king. Sorry, Did not respond as quickly as I should have, must have been out in the garden tending to the herbs. We use a number of them in our Tea and Dinner preparation. When I travel I seek out special places that offer 'Tea', always looking for new ideas to bring back. Thank you for visiting! Sincerely, Innkeeper Bob
