We stayed at the Pig Hill Inn on our first three nights in the Hudson Valley. It was a perfect selection. Our room was cozy with a fireplace and a very comfortable bed. The breakfasts were creative and delicious. The local restaurants were terrific. Cold Spring is a great location to stay in when sightseeing in the southern Hudson Valley.... More

Very charming and quaint with lots of character, antiques and attention to detail. Stayed in the "Victorian Elegance" room. Excellent breakfast with friendly service. Located near many restaurants and shops. An easy walk from train station (we had two small rolling suitcases). Cold Spring is a good location for exploring the Hudson Valley. The town was quite busy on a... More

This inn is very quaint and cute. Our room was on the first floor, quite cosy and comfy - creaky floorboards and all - but clean, with all the necessary requirements. Breakfast is taken in the sun rom at the back of the inn. Fruit juice, coffee, fruit bowl, pastry (if you wish) and a hot entree. All delicious. The... More

A delightful inn located in the center of town, perfectly located for strolling the inviting streets. We were warmly greeted by innkeeper Vera, who showed us to our ground floor room. It was very attractive, with a big, comfy bed, plenty of room for unpacking and storing our clothes, a very nice bathroom-- and everything was absolutely immaculate. Directly outside... More

The owner Vera and the keeper Dave are great. We loved the breakfast there. The problems is this property was built in 1800s and the property has unleveled floors that are extremely squeaky. If you put any round object on any of the furniture in the room it will roll off. You will hear so much loud squeaky noises from... More

My wife and I needed a night away from the routine of life, and we love the Hudson valley, so we decided that a night in Cold Spring would be great. We got lucky that the Pig Hill Inn had a 1 night availability (usually a 2 night minimum) so we decided to stay here. We checked in with no... More

Cozy and friendly place that also respects your privacy if you're feeling like being alone. There was a fireplace in our room and you can order champagne to be waiting for you. Amazing! There was a chocolate cake in the evening for guests to partake in. What the hell, that was amazing too! On Saturday we had breakfast in the... More

It was my first time in Cold Spring for a 2 night stay. I received a warm welcome from Vera who showed me to my room. Originally I wanted another room that wasn't available but I ended up enjoying the room that I had which was quiet and cozy. Breakfast was served each morning (with care) . Coming from Manhattan... Very quaint and lovely place in a wonderful location. It IS stuffed full of all kinds of knick knacks and decorations, which may be a little overwhelming at first, but make for some fascinating browsing, and everything is immaculate. We stayed downstairs and the room was fine. The windows open right on to the street, so if it's warm and... More

My partner and I wanted to get out of the hot smelly city for a weekend and the Pig Hill Inn was just what we needed. Vera, the innkeeper, was lovely -- funny, kind, charming. The included breakfast was AMAZING: fresh, delicious ingredients, wonderful service. You sign up for a time between 8:30 and 9:45 a.m. and they give you... More
