This is a clean, comfortable holiday inn with a friendly staff and standard decor. My stay was nice without any hiccups or incidents. Everyone I spoke to was very pleasant and polite. The room was extremely clean and I felt safe while I was there.

Hotel's Favourite
This hotel was great for a two night stay near the Baseball Hall of Fame. We requested adjoining rooms with my son and his family and the staff honored our request. The front desk staff was very friendly and there were free chocolate chip cookies at the desk. They even gave us free stamps to mail a postcard. The hotel staff was fabulous! The hotel is very nice with large rooms, a small frig, and a microwave. We were on the lower level near the pool and whirlpool which our grandkids loved. I read reviews saying that there was a deep chlorine smell which I did encounter and my eyes burned a little. The front desk attendant said she will report that to the manager and believes it is caused by the whirlpool. While slightly uncomfortable, this did not detract from having a wonderful time here. The free breakfast was excellent with a big selection including eggs, muffins, saysage, bacon, bagels, juice, coffee, pastries, and a pancake machine. The breakfast area was very comfortable. The hotel is only 4 miles from the Baseball Halk of Fame, very convenient. Great hotel! We loved it and highly recommend it! This hotel "Hit a Home Run" for us!

My family of 5 and I just left this hotel after a 2-night stay and I’m only giving it 2 stars because of its proximity to the Hall of Fame, the spaciousness of our bunk bed suite, and the free coffee in the lobby. Everything else was awful and we will never stay here again. Upon check-in, the front desk staff was not the friendliest, but we chalked it up to our late arrival. The drapes in our room did not fully close and our husband had to use binder clips he happened to have in his briefcase to clip them closed. The TV in the kids’ bunk bed area was not working. The shampoo ran out while I was in the shower and there was nothing I could do but use the body wash to wash my hair. I understand that giving out mini toiletries is probably not cost effective and I have no problem with providing larger bottles in the shower, but if hotels are going to do that, the cleaning staff needs to check the bottles daily to make sure they are not running low. But the worst experience for us was that from about 5:25 AM until 7:30 AM on our second morning, a woman sat on an outdoor bench that was right underneath our window and talked VERY loudly on her phone using very colorful language. She woke up our entire family, which made for a very horrible morning for our kids. We get it, that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. But when we were checking out, my husband very kindly mentioned the incident to the man at the front desk and instead of apologizing or even SOUNDING apologetic, he just said, “Oh yeah, she’s out there all the time,” and shrugged it off. Our issue is, if she is out there all the time talking loudly on her phone and waking people up at 5:30 AM, why has she never been asked to stop? Why does the hotel continue to leave a bench right outside of several rooms if there is an issue with people talking loudly during sleeping hours? And why we’re not even offered a simple “I’m sorry” when we raised the issue with the front desk worker? That just shows us that this hotel does not value their customers. Our baseball-loving family will certainly return to Cooperstown, but we will be finding somewhere else to stay.

Very happy with the accommodations, 2 queen suite. Very roomy. Beds comfortable. Only issue we’re the towels could be for exfoliating. Although we were facing the parking lot, it was very quiet. Met a nice couple from PA. (Hi Jewels). Breakfast was minimum. First day bacon and turkey sausage. Second day no bacon. No yogurt either day. Cereal, instant oatmeal, eggs, pancakes. All in all happy. Next time I’ll ask for a room in the back away from the elevator.

A very clean, comfortable and quiet hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I drive an electric car and there are no charging stations at the hotel. There are very few charging stations in the Cooperstown area. It would be great if the hotel had electric charging stations, it would have relieved some of the anxiety about having enough of a charge to get home

Overall a good stay. Room was nice and very clean. Quiet, even with a baseball team in the building. Any issues were little. Breakfast was limited but good. As others have noted, there aren't nearly enough tables. The 24 hour coffee in the lobby is a nice touch, though it seemed to always be empty, no one could be bothered to look for creamers (told me they were out, after I'd already pulled a bunch out of the box under the cabinet- that was funny), etc. Not walking distance to the Hall but 8 mind by car. We'd go back.

We stayed one night at this hotel. Everything was good and would probably stay again. Room was clean. Beds were a tad soft for our liking, but not a deal breaker. Dove bathroom products were in the shower, which was a plus. The breakfast was good. Omelets, sausage, pancakes, bagels, yogurt, your typical hotel breakfast foods. The only downfall for breakfast was that there isn’t a lot of tables. There are couches with tables, but I personally don’t want to sit on a couch to eat. Again, not a deal breaker. We went to breakfast at 7:30am and found it well stocked. We used the pool when we checked in, around 5pm. It is advertised as a heated pool, but the pool water was frigid, not just cold, ice cold. The pool room is heated, but not the pool itself. There is a small hot tub that all the kids were playing in because the pool was too cold to go in. There are also not a lot of chairs in the small pool area. Like 6 chairs and one table. Also, the pool deck was sopping wet. None of this stuff really took away from our stay and we would likely stay again.

Father and I stayed for a night while visiting HOF. Good room and convenient for that trip. Comfy beds, good cable selection, breakfast was so-so. We were visiting during low season, so it was quiet with few guests.

The location in Cooperstown NY was perfect. Unfortunately the hotel room was not cleaned well. The room 205 did not look like it had been fully vacuumed. The rug had noticeable stains. I told the staff during checkout that the carpets need to be shampooed. On the positive side the breakfast was good and staff was very nice.

The room was ok. There was an odd odor and a paper plate with charcoal on it under the desk. I assume the charcoal was for the odor. Certainly not a great look. Sofa in the room was very uncomfortable to sit on. Breakfast was lacking for sure. TV worked fine and the bed was certainly on the firm side.
