This hotel was great for a two night stay near the Baseball Hall of Fame. We requested adjoining rooms with my son and his family and the staff honored our request. The front desk staff was very friendly and there were free chocolate chip cookies at the desk. They even gave us free stamps to mail a postcard. The hotel staff was fabulous!

The hotel is very nice with large rooms, a small frig, and a microwave. We were on the lower level near the pool and whirlpool which our grandkids loved. I read reviews saying that there was a deep chlorine smell which I did encounter and my eyes burned a little. The front desk attendant said she will report that to the manager and believes it is caused by the whirlpool. While slightly uncomfortable, this did not detract from having a wonderful time here.

The free breakfast was excellent with a big selection including eggs, muffins, saysage, bacon, bagels, juice, coffee, pastries, and a pancake machine. The breakfast area was very comfortable.

The hotel is only 4 miles from the Baseball Halk of Fame, very convenient.

Great hotel! We loved it and highly recommend it! This hotel "Hit a Home Run" for us!

This is our first time staying in a hotel since COVID19. Needless to say, bringing two children, one of which is an infant is nerve wrecking during this time. But for the sake of everyone’s mental sanity, we did it.

I had called to inquire about connecting rooms, updated amenity option and various questions regarding the post covid hotel expectations. Dan at the front desk was thoughtful, patient and addressed our every query! Upon check in, Sabrina was efficient and detailed. She gave us the breakfast options, told us about the reservations for the pool use and confirmed that Dan had called to make sure our rooms were away from any excess noise as we had our little one on his first trip. We are seasoned travelers and these are truly the standards of going above and beyond.

The next morning, Shannon helped route our billing details as we had two rooms, offered an extension for pool use as the time slot was available and was outstandingly knowledgeable about the surrounding area. We cannot say enough great things about the staff at this property. Thank you, team! We will certainly be back to visit!

The rooms are clean and standard for HIE, paired with microwave and fridge in every room. Perfect for family travel. Do not hesitate to book this property as the staff really makes the stay shine.

This is the second time that we stayed here for a trip to the National Baseball Hall of Fame. It's a very basic Holiday Inn Express with very few amenities. However, the hotel has a newish feel and is very clean and comfortable. The staff is outstanding as well.

Location is perfect. It's right on Route 28, 4 miles from Main Street Cooperstown and a really easy drive there. It's also located next to a small shopping complex with a McDonald's and a supermarket.

COVID-19 notes:
Masks are required by all guests and staff in public places within the hotel, unless sitting at a table eating breakfast. Mostly everyone complies.

Breakfast: Due to COVID-19, the breakfast options are very limited. It's a grab and go breakfast with yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee and a small packaged bagels. The breakfast server will toast your bagel on request. The do have limited tables in the breakfast room to eat at. The do clean the tables after each person leaves. But they do appear to prefer that you eat your breakfast in your room due to social distancing and space limitations.

Pool: You need to make a reservation at the front desk to use the pool/hot tub. Reservations are in half hour time slots. You are permitted to stay longer as long as there are not more than 10 people in the pool area at a time. Also, it's probably not recommended that you share the hot tub with strangers at this point in time.

So in summary, this is a great, basic hotel in a very drivable location from Main Street in Cooperstown. Despite staying during the worst part of the pandemic so far, they did everything to make us feel safe and at home.

We stayed here whilst travelling through to Niagara Falls. Staff were very helpful and friendly, beds were very comfortable, we had a bath aswell as shower (always a bonus). Room was clean and hotel was quiet but guessing that the hotel was quiet. Rooms face either the car park or the mountain. Noisy air on unit in bedroom that just came on and off during night. Had a microwave and fridge in room but no cutlery or cups etc so pretty pointless them being there. Breakfast was a let down. Buffet breakfast but not a lot of choice at all, very clinical and cheap but I had a yogurt and an apple. I’ve found that high fat/ sugar breakfasts in America are standard- pancakes, doughnuts, etc. I struggled. Paper plates and plastic cutlery. Check out was easy. Sunrise was absolutely stunning!!
Room was not worth the price but a worth a good nights sleep which is what I usually base the service on as I am quite a light sleeper

Comfortable hotel. Plenty of free parking, comfortable bed, handicapped-accessible room was spacious enough for easily maneuvering my wife's wheelchair. The bathroom and shower were also easy-access. The drive to the village was easy and direct, if you like country roads, and the hotel is a nice, no-frills, quiet place to stay.

We stayed for 1 night for Baseball HOF trip. Great hotel, very very clean, good size room, simple breakfast but good due to NY Covid Regulations. Sabrina at front desk was super friendly. We will definitely return. This hotel is right down the road less than 5 min from Cooperstown and main attractions and stores.

We stayed here for a family trip to the Baseball HOF. This is a solid Holiday Inn. The common areas are all modern and updated. The lobby area is nice and has areas to sit and do work/eat. The pool is slightly dated but functional for what you need. The room was very nicely appointed, especially for a HI. We stayed in a suite, 2 queens and a pull out couch. Perfect for a family of 5. The hotel is very Covid safe and the breakfast works for the current environment. One complaint is that you have to request the room to be cleaned. We did and the request got lost. The manager, who was very nice, quickly made the beds and refreshed the room, but a proper cleaning would have been ideal. All in all, a great place to stay if you are going to Cooperstown.

We stayed one night in early October 2020, when COVID rules were fully in place. We picked this property thinking they’d have the resources to clean up to standards. Because I work in retail, I’m aware of the need for masks as a sign to customers that all protocols are being followed. That, and the fact that they are required in New York, where the hotel is, and New Jersey, where I work.

The hotel’s room cleaning staff had masks, but chose to keep them around their neck, rather than over their nose and mouth, while cleaning guest rooms. None of us like the Covid rules, but if you want the travel industry to return, please follow them.

Considering the number of visitors that the Baseball HOF must bring to this area, there are surprisingly few hotel options. And what there is, isn't great. The pros for this hotel are its quiet location, ample parking and it seems to be fairly new and modern. The cons are that it is just average. The room was ok - nothing special. The a/c unit is really loud and there's no switch for the fan in the bathroom which runs 24/7 - also noisy. TV channels are limited. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. It's maybe the best of the options in the area - but the bar isn't that high.

We stayed at the hotel for one night while visiting the nearby baseball Hall of Fame. It was decent but nothing about the hotel really stood out. The location is fairly rural (as is the entire area), and about 10 minutes' drive from the baseball museum. Our room was comfortable enough, and the breakfast did have some warm options, which was appreciated. We were a large group (6 rooms) and perhaps we overwhelmed the person checking us in, but although she was polite she didn't seem to take an interest in us - just followed the exact script with each successive checkin. That said, there aren't many hotel options in this area, so we would likely stay here again.
