A beautiful historic home on Pine Blvd. It is a fabulous location just off downtown & Otsego Lake. We had the good fortune to select the owners former master bedroom and it was just perfect for us with a TV for my husband, private bath, and desk for me - so spacious and so quiet - a wonderful night of...

A lovingly restored Victorian with a five star location on a beautiful street but a few blocks from downtown this b & b provided a very comfortable retreat on a trip to the Glimmerglass Opera. Our spacious room with private bath was a perfect accommodation and Gayle, the host, provided warm hospitality. We would definitely stay again.

Very nice old victorian. Went up for the night with my son to see the baseball hall of fame. Bed was comfy, nice little breakfast in the morning, nice host-Gayle. Just perfect for what we wanted. Felt like I was living in a bygone era!

This Victorian home is a beauty. The exterior has lovely landscaping, is inviting and well maintained. The interior is tastefully decorated, comfortable and reflects the owners interests and tastes. It's a welcoming home and you immediately feel relaxed. Our room was very large and the bed comfortable. The bedrooms are light and airy. Gayle is a gracious hostess and breakfast...

Excellent b&b located close to all Cooperstown attractions. Located in the village, within walking distance to the Hall of Fame and shops/resturants. Rooms and amenities are wonderful and the house is beautiful.

I've stayed in lots of B&Bs; this one is unique. The bedrooms are huge; the bathrooms are antiques. In good weather, take your breakfast on the porch and enjoy the shady yard and neighborhood. Your hosts, Gayle and Jack, have lived here forty years. The care they show this mansion approaches reverence. They are friendly and gracious hosts. An unusual...

The house is so warm and comforting you feel at home from the moment you walk in the door. Gayle, the proprietress is amazing. Her homemade scones and breakfast pastries are out of this world! Perfect sleep - so quiet - and idyllic breakfast! I highly recommend!

We found this amazing amazing Bed and Breakfast through the Cooperstown lodging website, and after a brief exchange of emails with Gayle, who owns the place along with her husband Jack, we decided to spend our three nights there. Their website (http://www.overlookbb.co…) makes the rooms and common spaces look wonderful--and the reality is that they are even better when you...

Wonderful! My brother and I visited Cooperstown. Lifelong baseball fans, we finally made it here after 55 years. Accommodations were secondary to our visit to the Hall of Fame. To our surprise and delight, the Overlook B&B was the perfect complement. Gayle, one of the owners, makes you feel at home the minute you step inside. Should we decide to...

My wife and I were in town for a wedding and booked a room at the Overlook despite not really being B&B people. We were both blown away by how awesome this house is (the pictures do not do it justice) and the amazing personal service. Gayle is fantastic and strikes the perfect balance of making you feel at home...

“Veronica and Emily rooms are very pleasant and sunny but the bath is down the hall. The other two rooms have en suite bathrooms. If you are an air conditioning freak, you should know that the rooms are not air conditioned. The house is on a hill, so you do great breezes at night and there are large windows with cross ventilation and a fan.”
