Hotel's Favourite
We enjoyed our stay. The inn itself is so quaint and the architecture was beautiful. The rooms was so cute and the bed and pillows were just right. We sat in the evening in the parlor and talked with people from other states. The breakfast in the morning was very good. Everyone from the person who took the reservation over the phone, to the person at the front desk, to the breakfast crew were all so kind and inviting. We would highly recommend this inn.

Room was nice and clean when we arrived. Receptionist was very helpful in acclimating to Cooperstown. Breakfast was fine including coffee, fruits, toast, kiche, muffins, tea, juices. Our room - 22 - had an issue with cold water in the sink. There was none and we advised the desk and in our review card. In addition it was very difficult showering. The shower head had to be maybe 7 feet high and we could not adjust. The shower head aimed directly in the middle of the shower floor so you could not avoid water to properly lather up. Very difficult showering in that room. It appeared to be a rather new bathroom so we could not understand how that was designed and built.

We were looking for a pleasant place to spend 2 nights in Cooperstown while we toured the Baseball HOF. We wanted a place that was conveniently located to the downtown area, and a place we could come back to during the afternoon and evening to relax. We were at the Inn for two nights in late September, and we were in a "classic" room on the third floor with a queen and a single for 3 people. The room was a little smaller than I had imagined with only one chair. On the other hand, the first floor parlor area (actually 2 connected rooms) was a very nice place to park ourselves from 8 to 10 pm both nights we were there. Despite the fact that the parking lot appeared nearly filled to capacity, we had the rooms to ourselves both nights. My wife and I were able to do a little computer work and our son watched TV. Even if there had been someone in the parlor area, we could have used the dining tables to work on the computers. There was a sophisticated Keurig type coffee/tea maker in the parlor. The stairs are narrow and would be difficult to negotiate with a large suitcase, but I was able to get our carryon suitcases up the stairs without a problem (I am 71 years old). The heater worked well, there was plenty of hot water, the bathroom was large with nice towels, the beds were comfortable, and we noticed very little room noise. We felt no drafts even though the building was originally constructed in the 1870's. The staff was friendly, polite and helpful. The breakfast was good with excellent muffins, a fresh fruit salad, yogurt, toast, juice, and frittatas. We will stay there the next time we are in Cooperstown.

The Inn itself is very quaint. The downstairs parlor is very inviting as a shared space to relax. The problem is the rooms. The pictures of all the rooms look amazing online however they are NOT as shown. First of all every room claims either 2 twins, queen or king beds with pictures of various sizes of sitting areas based on room category. We booked a standard room that listed a queen size bed in the amenities. The room we got had a full size bed with barely enough room to walk on either side of the bed. The sitting space consisted of a small chair in the corner next to the wall mounted TV which was maybe . Pictures of the bathroom also depict a nice space. Our corner shower was so small that the curtain was literally inches from my face. Breakfast consisted on 1 egg cup (3" in diameter) and mini muffins which were served one at a time, some fruit, toast, and two flavors of yogurt that you could help yourself to. To say continental is generous. Then to top it all off, if you wanted to have your room refreshed and your bed made you had to request it. We were with 2 other couples, one of whom who raved about the inn so we didn't want to make an issue about how disappointing it was to us. It is grossly overpriced for what you get. We paid just under $700 for 2 nights. Will not be going back.

Thank you for choosing The Inn at Cooperstown and taking the time to post a review. Our pictures of the Inn online are what the pictures show. The Inn does not have full size beds. You first booked online the Premium Suite then called and downgraded to our Standard size room. Our Standard size rooms are the smaller of the rooms. The breakfast is something we are working on. I do apologize if you were not happy with it. Changes are on the way to make improvements. We have not had the staff to do every room on a daily basis in our busy season. Refreshening a room is welcome to be requested. We enjoyed having you. Hopefully you will return to see the improvements in the future.

We had a fantastic experience at the Inn at Cooperstown! Breakfast was great and the staff was fantastic. The location is just a few short blocks from the BB Hall of Fame, but was very quiet and peaceful. One of my favorite morning rituals was to sip coffee in a rocking chair on the front porch and watch the town wake up. We had our bicycles with us, and the "bike club" storage room was an added bonus. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

We had a wonderful one-night’s stay at the Inn at Cooperstown! The protocols they have taken during COVID19 are outstanding; we felt safe and comfortable, while feeling as close to normal as we have in a long time. The bike clubhouse was an added bonus, and we enjoyed talking with the proprietors about where to ride bikes. Enjoyed beer and wine (that we brought with us) on the front porch at happy hour. We ordered takeout for our dinner, and the Inn staff cheerfully set up place settings with real plates, silverware, and wine glasses for us. The bed was comfortable and the shower strong. A beautiful venue!

My husband and I have been coming to Cooperstown every summer for years now, and each time we stay in a different place. Most recently, we stayed at the Inn at Cooperstown and had a lovely time. The room was nicely appointed, and the proximity to town can't be beat. We prefer to walk everywhere we can when we're visiting, and this establishment is one block from the main village center. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the community tables offered us a chance to chat with different people every day. One of the innkeepers, Marc, came to our table and chatted with us each morning. The only downside might have been an issue just with our particular room, and that was the size of the shower. I am a very small person, and it was a tight fit.

My wife and I visited during the off season to enjoy a quite vacation in Cooperstown, see the Hall of Fame, and do some shopping and general walking around town. The Inn at Cooperstown was worth every penny to us. The location is perfect, we like old houses so the ambience was very enjoyable, and the staff there was so welcoming and comfortable to be around. I'd definitely go there again.

Staff were all friendly and helpful in providing information about the area. The room was adequate in size and bed was very comfortable. Continental breakfast was very nice - two different kinds of quiches were tasty.
Location was the best. Easy walking distance to everything! Would stay there again.

Thank you for the fun Ommegang Brewery tasting and dinner. All precautions to keep guests safe were taken.
The bike "room" was perfect as well as suggestions for bike routes. Being able to buy road tires from Marc for my bike was an added bonus. Definitely a place we will return to if we are in the area.

Absolutely!!!
I cannot find times check-in and check-out. I will be coming in on Friday and leaving Sunday. Thanks
My recollection is check-in occurs any time after 3 pm. Check-out is around 11 AM, but if you need a few minutes extra time, they're very nice about it.
The Brewery is 6.6 miles from The Inn at Cooperstown. It is an easy drive that will take about 12-15 minutes.
We are taking reservations though our rates are not finalized yet. Rates will be slightly higher than this past summer. Give us a call at 607-547-5756. Thanks and Happy Labor Day!
Tripadvisor: This question is directed to the innkeepers, not to someone who simply stayed at the Inn for a few days. Please properly route this message to them...thanks!
