Those who consider that area "unsafe", are exaggerating and haven't seen anything in life. There was nothing unsafe in that area.Me [5 ft 4] and my girlfriend [5"ft], not exactly big buffed, walked at night with our shopping bags and did not feel unsafe for one minute. The hotel is located in a residential area with a lot of South...

This place is not located in a good neighborhood and the noisy train runs right past, so if you are a light sleeper you better bring your earplugs. I wouldn't recommend this hotel for families with children. The rooms are clean and spacious and the linen and towels are of decent quality. The airport shuttle took 25 mins to pick...

I second what another reviewer said about booking.com's misleading rating for this hotel. We picked this hotel because of the ratings and close proximity to the airport. We were shocked when the cab driver dropped us off because the neighborhood was scary. We saw multiple women who appeared to be prostitutes checking in at all times with various men. The...

Its no Disney resort but don't expect the Marriott outside Disney's gates either- its located underneath the 7 subway line overpass parallel to Roosevelt Ave- so its extremely noisy! But its hella close to citifield! Lets Go Mets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The worst hotel I have ever been. Don't dare come. The service was terrible. They charged me more than what agreed. They closed the kitchen earlier without. a notice. The desk didn't offer a solution and the manager didn't want to help and even talk on the phone.

Flight to Detroit got cancelled, stayed here for 2 days waiting for next flight. Close to Laguardia and subway - excellent location to keep busy! Hotel provided airport shuttle which meant a lot in the terrible cold weather.

My friend and I decided we wanted to go to NYC last minute so finding a "not-so-expensive-hotel" was tough. We didn't have high hopes for the hotel but our 2 night stay was unexpectedly pleasant. Yes, there are loud trains passing but it wasn't a bother. The staff was SUPER friendly and the rooms were immaculate. The bathrooms were surprisingly...
