We only stayed at Deborah's B&B for one night early August while driving from Toronto to Woodstock NY. We found the place with a google search of the area, called and by chance she had a room free for the night. We're happy we did. First of all, the house and room were lovely, not to mention the home cooked...

Our stay was more than we could have imagined! Deborah and her family were excellent hosts. The house was gorgeous, rooms were comfortable and to have an outstanding breakfast served on the patio, just topped off the weekend. We are looking forward to visiting our new friends again. We highly recommend Dexter 1855 House!!

Deborah was an amazing host. Staying for the weekend was just an extension of being home, so inviting. we could relax in the living room and play games around the dinning room table. The food was magnificent and the price was entirely reasonable. I have no doubt you will enjoy your stay at this beautifully warm old home.

Deborah was the most enthusiastic hostess we've ever encountered. She was happy to let us design our own breakfast menu, and the food was outstanding. We can't forget to mention Emma, the cute Chihuahua who has an unlimited capacity to give and receive affection. If we're in the area again we'll definitely try to stay at the 1855 House. Marty...

I stayed here for 7 months last year while working a contract on Ft. Drum. Deb welcomed me into her home and heart. It was a difficult time for me and she made all the difference between having a place to stay and a place to call home, even if it's temporary.

We stayed here when my husband was getting out of the military. They were very welcoming to us and accommodated us well. Then we came back to Fort Drum to visit our friends in the area and again had an amazing experience at the 1855 house. The rooms we stayed in were clean, beds were comfortable and the food and...

Stayed with my Mom after a very long day of traveling. Deb is a great host! The room was warm, clean and comfortable. I spent a great time talking to Deg. She is a lovely person with so much wisdom! We both slept very well. The home was beautiful too.

I chose to stay at Dexter because it was very close to the white water rafting day trip I went on. The rooms here are very comfortable, we had our own bathroom, everything is very clean and the food is delicious! And Debbie our host was such a pleasure to be around and made us feel very welcome! I hope...

The host Deborah was very welcoming and makes an amazing breakfast in the morning. The whole house is full on amazing antiques all with...

Have never felt so at home away from home. Dexter House is governed by a lovely hostess who welcomed us like long lost kin and catered to our every need. Our children were treated like one of her own. Comfortable and clean rooms, beautifully decorated, with all the necessary amenities. Relaxing come and go atmosphere. Will return again and again.

Thank FutbolFamily
