Like others before me I was just introduced to the 'where in the world do I stay when I visit my kid at Cornell' riddle. Fortunately I stumbled on a great answer in the nick of time. Indeed, Ithaca is not the worlds easiest place to find a good room, at a good value, during the time that you need...

We planned a last minute trip to visit our child at Ithaca College and hotels (as is so often the case in Ithaca and the surrounds) were hard to find and/or expensive. I came across the Turret House on a website and while we don't prefer B&Bs, decided to take a chance. We're very glad we did. The house is...

I stayed here in October 2011. This was an excellent bed and breakfast, a short drive from Ithaca, NY. It was a great value: less expensive and way nicer than similarly priced hotels in Ithaca. Hotels in Ithaca can often be very expensive, so this was a great find. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was excellent, and...

Tried to get a room or B&B in Ithaca, and thank god found this place, Nancy (owner) was very acomadating due to last minute situation we had. Great Location for us, because he had to be between Ithaca and Tioga County. Highly recommend to one and all. Would be great for Skiers going to Greek Peak as well

We had a great one night stay at The Turret House. After trying to find a hotel in Ithaca - no rooms available! We got lucky and found this b&b. Checked in just before 10pm and walked to a restaurant right around the corner for a quick bite to eat. The Turret house was nice and clean and we had...

My daughter & I stayed at Turret House during a recent college visit in June 2011. This newly opened B&B was utterly charming. The house has been recently renovated and the results were sensational. We found the Innkeeper, Nancy Werany, to be a very experienced hostess. This is not her first B & B and her.expertise shows. We were served...

“If you want a private bath I believe you need to get the Suite, but you will still have to walk through the adjoining room in the suite (or the hallway) to get to the bathroom. However, the French door to the other adjacent room provides very little "audible privacy".”

“If you need to have a private bathroom the Grand Suite is the room to choose, worth the extra money. The suite is huge, two rooms that can accommodate easily 4 people. The bathroom is nicely done. If you need to have bed sheets and towels changed you need to request this service.”
