I love this place! The owners are so sweet and kind to us every time we visit, we've been here at least 5 or 6 times. The rooms are cozy and very clean. Its one of my favorite places to stay when we visit bear mountain.

Owner ran my ATM card when we checked in. Everything was fine until the following morning. He claimed to have trouble with an already approved card. I am not sure if his scam was trying to get paid in cash so he wouldn't have to claim the income. Or to sucker me into paying twice.

This is a basic motel in one of the most beautiful spots of the lower Hudson Valley! The motel is an easy commute to Bear Mountain and West Point. Very close to Bear Mountain Bridge, very economical Hudson River crossing.

Rooms are small but clean and just right for the price. The owner's went above and beyond for us while we stayed there. It is like staying in rooms that are extension of their home. We weren't sure how long we were staying as we were "slack packing" a through hiker on the AT. Ended up being there for four...

The motel is okay. The problem is the owner. On the door it seems as if credit cards are accepted. In our guide book it states the same, but when you arrive the owner goes through the process of acting like your credit card doesn't work & tells you to go to the ATM so you can pay in cash....

I stayed here because after many years of staying in Bear Mountain State Park, I needed a less pricey alternative. This is a good base for activities in the area--just a few minutes drive from Bear Mountain and other sites. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. The rooms are also fairly tiny--traveling as a single,...

My boyfriend and I traveled from NYC to Bear Mountain for a weekend hiking trip and stayed at this motel. They don't have a website so I made the reservation over the phone. The owner was super nice and helpful, and I also felt that the price was very fair. The motel is quaint - it consists of only 6...

I had a great experience at this motel. The owners were very nice and the room was very clean. It was like staying in someones guest room. I would stay here again in the future. If you are looking for a quaint little motel, this is it.

The guy who answers the phone is being offensive by criticizing and making personal comments, not being reasonable. I asked several questions about conditions and the price. And what was the response? That I have many issues, so "go and look for another place". When someone coming from far away, not knowing the area and willing to find a place...

This review is for AT hikers. Using AWOL's A.T. Guide, I decided to get a mail drop and single bed room at Bear Mountain Bridge Motel in Fort Montgomery, NY. The guide list the room for $69 dollars. And with the stay, hikers get pick up/return to trail at zoo. Well I got picked up by the guy at the...
