Lovely people run this very nice B&B in a lovely spot. Very well located near bear mountain, west point and some great hiking and beautiful scenery. Wish we had more places like this in the US. Nice and homey and well priced. Makes it affordable to travel off the beaten path and to stay away from the big chain hotels....

In looking that the reviews that were previously posted, We almost didn't stay at this place but decided to give it a try. We had stayed at other B&B's which were much more expensive and for twice the price you did get "pampered". They do state clearly that there is only a continental breakfast served and to me it was...

Our stay st the Garrison House was like a Seinfeld episode. Upon arrival we had difficulty finding the innkeeper- Holly. When we did find her, it was the last time we ever saw her the entire weekend. Bedroom was filthy. Bugs were in the basket with our clean? towels and on the coffee table in living room. Woodwork was covered...

My husband made reservations here because he had a class reunion at West Point and this hotel was more reasonably priced than some of the other options and it was well located. Those were the only two positive things that I can say about the place. Our room was covered in bugs (stink bugs, spiders and other critters). The moldings...

This was by far the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. When we checked in on Friday night we should have been warned by the "bates motel-no vacancies" sign in the window. The owner Holly seemed nice but that was the last we saw of her or anyone else from the inn during our stay. The bedrooms were adequate....

Your first glance is of the neglected porch with full, dirty ashtrays, looking as if it had never been swept was the first clue that this wasn't going to be a charming place where guests. Are pampered! The room was OK and the bed was comfortable. We had to search for extra towels. No one who worked at the hotel...

The Garrison House on Rte9W in Fort Montgomery area of NY is a Bed&Breakfast dating back to 1751. The Owner, Holly Gokey, is a wealth of information about her Inn and about the area in general. Since they are only about 2 miles from West Point, she can advise just what to see there for a self-guided tour. She can...

My wife and I stayed at Garrison House this past weekend during a weekend getaway. The house itself was beautiful and well maintained and clean. The staff was awesome, even offering to go out of their way for us when they thought we might need it, and very friendly. We got their special Valentines Sweetheart Package, which included dinner and...

My wife and I attended a reunion at West Point and, as usual, wanted to stay at a B&B. We have stayed at two otyher B&Bs in the area and have enjoyed them...the Garrison House was a shock! They had no record of our reservation that was made two months earlier. I woke the Innkeeper from her nap by banging...
