brookside manor is a beautiful nook of olden days tucked in the middle of quiet Fredonia, a lovely retreat from our busier days. This beautiful Victorian house of bricks, laces and delicate flowery teacups is a lovely stop, a much enjoyed reprieve from our busy days in the modern world. The house is lovingly decorated in comfort and charms, in...

I just spent several days at Brookside with my two small dogs and loved every second of it. Many people have written about how warm and inviting the hosts, Andrea and Dale, are, and how good the food is. It's all true. It is also difficult to find a B&B that is pet and child friendly. I love traveling with...

Very few people would consider traveling to NY wine country in the middle of the winter, but that is exactly what we did! We saw Brookside Manor last year when we were in the Fredonia area and thought it looked nice. So, when we decided to return we checked it out. We were impressed and booked the Brookview Suite. We...

Andrea and Dale were the perfect hosts, making myself and 2 companions (not frequent travelers)feel at home. The rooms are lovely, especially if you love older Victorian style homes. The bathrooms are modern and well set out. We really just had a good time chatting at breakfast in the dining room. They helped make our visit special.

My 3 cousins and I stayed here recently on a visit to Lily Dale. We used 2 rooms and counting our visit of last year, we now have experienced 3 of their 4 rooms. All were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and charming. Dale and Andrea were so sweet to us that we felt pampered and cared about. Andrea's breakfasts are...

I had to write to take exception to the post by the New Brunswick, OH couple who wrote that they had a bad stay. Well, my wife and stay here nearly every summer as she has family in the area. We have had nothing but great experiences staying with Andrea and Dale. They are two of the nicest people I...

We recently had a wedding in Dunkirk and had never been to this area. After researching some local B&Bs, we chose Brookside. The owners are two of the friendliest most accommodating people we have ever met! We were not going to arrive in town until after midnight, and they were willing to let us have a late check-in. The wedding...

I booked the garden party room with a queen and full size bed in April for a June stay. Upon arrival we were advised by Andrea that our room had been changed to the butternut room and they put a twin bed in the room to go along with the queen bed. No explanation as to the room change other...

Stayed for two nights, wonderful, Andrea and Dale would do anything for you, very helpful, very knowledgeable, room(s) immaculate, delightful, comfortable, spacious, everything is provided from reading materials to internet access to soft and fluffy towels, and on and on. Breakfast superb. Absolutely nothing negative to say. This would definitely be our first choice for accommodation if in the area...
