We were attending a wedding and needed a hotel/motel on Long Island. This was the only hotel in the area with availability and affordability. It was extremely basic, although some renovations had been made. The bathroom was poorly designed, but completely renovated and huge! The bedroom was clean, but dated. There is a restaurant or bar on the premises, but...

My wife and I have just spent 6 weeks touring the USA. We stayed in 35 different motels, this is the worst of all of them. We booked ahead on this night as it was a Saturday night and sometimes difficult to find a room at short notice. We paid top dollar, but they usually are on a Saturday, as...

Every single person in the office was wonderful ESPECIALLY the young lady with the 5 year old (whose name escapes me-sorry)! The breakfast offered was actually well thought out. Quite honestly, (and I've said this before on many reviews) I think a little extra cleaning would do a world of good. Wiping down the walls and doors would make it...

This was out of season when we stayed for one night which may have been the reason it wasn't the best of stays, definitely over priced. The rooms could do with a makeover old and dated. You can hear your Neighbours whilst trying to sleep!!! The free breakfast isn't really breakfast a few breakfast bars, bagels and coffee.

We stayed for three nights - it suited our needs! Great big comfy bed with great pillows! Plenty of tv stations - Basic shower amenities. No coffee or tea available in the room but it you could get it from the lobby downstairs. Far away from anywhere but we used this to get to grips with the subway! Hahaha -...

Firstly, the front desk receptionist was incredibly rude and talked down us. She gave us an attitude and told us that we were awful at grade school math. After rolling her eyes at us a couple times, She gave us room 41. We were told which direction to go in, but not fully explained. Upon finding a desolate looking staircase,...

My husband and I have actually stayed there 3 separate times (2012, 2014 and this August 2016)... we love it!! It's an older place, but that's part of the character. It's got a retro look outside and most of the rooms have been updated. As other reviews said, the mini fridge is small and on a small stand, but it's...

We recently stayed at the Freeport Inn & Marina after returning from JFK to see a concert at the Nikon in Jones Beach. The pictures truly mislead you. Run down, dirty carpet, lounge is never open and they put a $50 charge on my card for what they called incidentals. I can see putting a hold on a certain amount...

we had three rooms on the second floor for three nights. The rooms was ok. the reviews about the refig. on the luggage rack was right. It also did not have a coffee maker. I saw the cleaning lady the next morning and asked for extra towels, only give two sets. So she gave extra towels. The next day we...

We stopped for just one night and we had a very good night sleep. The staff at front desk were friendly. The breakfast was not the best but we got som oatmeal and bagels with some good cups of coffee. In the evening we had our dinner at the restaurant beside the hotel which were very nice.
