Very quiet, lovely spot to kayak in the Catskills, with great nature viewing. Good range of kayaks and paddle boards available. The owner and staff are very pleasant and helpful. A great find for a few hours of active leisure time.

Graet location, unit, breakfast and host!! Strongly recommend ! Lakeview unit located just on the lake. Get a kayak and explore the lake. The whole property is huge and well maintained. No cell signal in the mountains but fast wifi in the house.Good enough.. Enjoyed the stay. Best for romantic couples...

went 7/16 as a couple. Susan was a very gracious, caring host: made an exquisite three-course breakfast. Nice suite, comfortable king size bed. Gorgeous views. Room on lake. Kayaking fun. would recommend.

So beautiful, peaceful and unhurried. As soon as we turned in a crossed the little bridge I knew we were going to be transported. We chose our kayak and set off for a late afternoon of kayaking; the birds, the occasional brown trout, and the dance of the dragonflies, all prove picture perfect!

This was the first place we stopped on our Labor-Day weekend adventure and I wouldn't have wanted to start it any other way. Very pleasant area, the scenery was so calming it was almost necessary to stop here first in order to set the inner naturist in me free, the kayaking was a very lovely journey, and the folks who... Serenity Now! Frank Costanza would have loved this venue. Just coming onto the property one can feel the tension drain from the corporeal body. From the the mill run, to the undershot water wheel, the mill pond and tiny private island on a secluded part of the upper Delaware River, this updated, old fashioned place, reminded me of a small... We are novice kayakers and found this to be a very enjoyable couple of hours in a small lake and river. The staff were all very helpful. But most important, the scenic views were incredible. A definite return. The hotel was under repair from a hurricane so we stayed elsewhere.

To be fair, this was only our 2nd stay at a bed and breakfast. Maybe my expectations were too high but I wanted to just state a couple things in case there are any other couples like us expecting something a bit different. We arrived late at night and Susan showed us around. The website said that we’d have a... More

The hosts, Susan and Jim Kelly, are genuinely interesting and worldly hosts. Susan, a gourmet cook, personally prepares a memorable breakfast, a major event. The house is filled with antique musical instruments and many other fascinating collectibles. Jim is the on site host and has a fireplace fire going when you set forth in the morning, and is ready with... More
