Our recent stay at the historic Inn at Twaalfskill was absolutely perfect!! We thoroughly enjoyed spending the weekend at the Inn while we were in town from Seattle, to attend a family wedding. Much love and attention to detail has been poured into the Inn at Twaalfskill. The inn and grounds are spectacular with interesting details everywhere – a grand...

Really enjoyed our stay here. The innkeeper is perfect for this job, helpful and meticulous. The 3 rooms are all beautiful. Comfortable beds with luxurious towels in the private baths. Breakfast is a treat with homemade baked goods, fruit, and a choice of a few entrees. They have bikes to borrow to use to ride the Walk Over The Hudson,...

This gorgeous B&B is set on a lovely piece of property and is maintained to perfection. The whole house is elegant, beautifully decorated, and spanking clean, and our room (#2) was very large, comfortable, and had a huge modern bathroom. Our breakfast was bountiful and absolutely delicious: homemade nectarine danish, fresh fruit, vegetable omelette (or French toast), orange juice (toast...

I have reviewed this B&B before, but I just went back this weekend and realized again what a haven it is for the outdoor enthusiast. It sits right on the Rail Trail - 22 miles of beautiful paved trail for running, walking and biking - and just 1 mile from the Walkway Over the Hudson. Easy trip from the city...

It's just across the bridge from Poughkeepsie. Quiet street. Excellent accommodations and full breakfast. Host is great. The inn also has a great back yard/patio and is close to the trail that leads over the Hudson Walkway pedestrian bridge. Only three rooms, I think, so make your reservation early.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Inn at Twaalfskill. It is a really nice Inn with only three guest rooms. It was quiet and our room was very comfortable. The rooms are all decorated with a nice collection of antiques. The Inn has been updated and has modern baths. Our breakfast was great with coffee, tea, juice, fresh...

We stayed at the inn at twaalfskill for a relaxing bachelorette party and had the most amazing experience. The inn is so conveniently located by hiking trails, spas, the culinary institute of america, wineries and everything we had planned for the weekend. The rooms were all so meticulously and gorgeously decorated with little vintage keepsakes and cute pieces (you can...

The amenities were perfect for our group of friends, and Nancy was extraordinarily accommodating for our group. We used the B&B extensively, and we could not be more grateful for all that Nancy did for us. Breakfasts were delicately and impeccably presented; I would recommend this to anyone visiting the nearby area. The nearby vineyards and the Culinary Institute of...

A last minute decision brought me to the Inn and I was welcomed by the gracious Innkeeper, Nancy. She exceeded my expectations in accommodating my special diet and made me feel comfortable in her beautiful, tastefully decorated inn, which was very clean and quiet. I have stayed here a number of times, and will definitely be back!
