Visited again , love this place, chill with a drink then poop down to the sea for a quick dip before having lunch.. then lay on a hammock, what more do you want.... Chicken yassa still great especially on a special discount day, very cheap. The rice is the best by far and I have tried lots of restaurants, bar...

I like Leybatos because it's quiet, comfortable, and beach side homey. Hammocks, personal tables, and pools by the beach make Leybatos a great place to stay for only a couple days. The beer is poorly priced, but you can buy cheap bear down the street. They also offer massages and breakfast.

What can I say. This is really a Place which fit my needs. Very basic but it have what you need. Comfortable beds, clean rooms and all placed in an African relaxing bungalow "village". This is the perfect stay if you want to relax and lower the stress level while you just enjoy the waves rolling in at the beach...

We stopped for lunch and totally overwhelmed the service. We took one of the last available gazeboes and had to wait over 2 hours before we were all served. The food is good and inexpensive but with only one waiter the service is nearly nonexistent.

I've never stayed a night (I live in the same area!) but I must have been hundreds of times to snooze in a hammock or read at a table. It's a great place to relax, have cheap drinks / food, and enjoy the beach. Very friendly staff. There's a useful tap and shower to wash off sand from the beach....

While I've never stayed the night at Leybato, I've spend many an afternoon/evening swaying the day away in the hammocks and relaxing in the gazebos. Once you've been to The Gambia, you know that bums are just part of being there and the same goes for Leybato. The good news is that the staff are friendly and generally make the...

I have stayed in this Hotel with my family for 10 nights in December 2015. We have really enjoyed our stay and would really like to come back in future. The Hotel staff were very friendly and caring and are always ready to serve their guests. The Hotel has met the standard interms of cleaness of the rooms, bathrooms, toilets...

Very laid back, to the point of being almost wilderness garden. Superb beach frontage, lovely staff, though using Gambian Time; food decent, privacy assured. Approach from the dusty hill at the front, not from the beach...too many hasslers out there. When you emerge form the hotel to the beach you are known, other way round it's not so certain. Lovely...
