I stayed at Ma-s Hotel on two separate occasions while working in Tamale. The hotel has great working air conditioning, hot water in the bathroom, and a decent restaurant. The room we stayed in had two double beds, a nice flatscreen TV and a refrigerator. However, the wi-fi rarely works (which is no surprise in Tamale), but for the price,...

Ma-s is an overpriced, sorry excuse for a luxury hotel in Tamale, Ghana. The hotel staff are unhelpful and essentially useless. The only place the wifi works is in the restaurant, but saying that it works is a generous statement in and of itself. My colleague and I got our laundry done by the laundry service, which charges 2 cedis...

The rooms are simple but clean and confortable, the AC works well and there is water in the bathroom which is not always the case in hotels at this price. Internet is however very poor and accessible only in certain rooms and in the lobby, or not accessible at all it depends... the restaurant is basic and the breakfast is...

This hotel is a simple place to sleep. The sheets were clean ish. My toilet had to wait 1 hour between flushing. The restaurant did not have almost any of the food. They did not have more than two types of cold drinks. No alcohol. Easy an simple hotel. Nothing more. Only possible to pay with cash.

Probably the best in Tamale, but compared to Sunyani and Kumasi it is not good. The aircondition was poor in my room. . I enden up with open Windows just to survive the heat. The restaurant had an impressive menu, but make sure to have at least 3-4 options, it was a lot they did not have. And another important...

Very kind staff, right on the main road equidistant to African Dream and Modern City. The room was loud, bathrooms interesting, locks not too strong, I would likely stay at Modern City next time, but really a very solid hotel with very kind staff.

We stayed at the Mas Hotel this past week during our visit to Tamale and it was pretty good. Tamale is no the most developed city in Ghana so by Northern Ghana standards, this place is a palace. It has warm running showers, air conditioning and wifi. The breakfast was very good (we had the spanish omelets) and the staff...

Very basic hotel with some positives and some negatives. The food was quite good and the internet was strong and speedy. I had the best Skype video chat with my daughter for my entire trip (I was in Accra for a week and the internet was spotty.) The water on the third floor slowed to a trickle very quickly in...

During my visit to Ghana last week, I had to go to Tamale for some meetings, originally was supposed to stay for one night, but had to extend for one more night as the flight to Accra was cancelled. The airline put me up at Ma-s Hotel. By Tamale standards, the hotel is OK, conveniently located on the road to...

I spent one night here travelling from Wa, Ghana to Accra. Considering what you see along the way, this is a very good hotel. The room was adequate in size, relatively clean, and since I had an inside room, relatively quiet. However, the standard of service has to be rated low based on the slowness and indifference of the staff....
