We stopped here after going to see the Lemurs. Though our hosts were hospitable with cold beverages and fresh fruit , the place could use a face lift. Facing a beautiful beach even this was marred by a several foot barrier of seaweed. It could have been a whole lot better.

Oh My God !! This place is simply a nightmare. Wonderful in design, but don t try to eat here. They don t serve even a glass of wine ( only water and coca cola). I tried a steak and a soupe de crevettes and... really ... very expensive and the taste was completely absent. Place is ALWAYS empty and...

We stayed here and day tripped around for a few days. We had a blast. We ate breakfast every morning here as well as dinner and sometimes lunch too. We literally ate them out of eggs and half of their curries! They were so helpful though and one of the girls even ran down the road to get us more...

We arrived in Nosy Be after a day of diving in Nosy Tanikely, having read good reviews about Aviavy. The start was already on the wrong foot. The hotel was quite late picking us up from the port in Hellville, and when they finally arrived, we felt they were upset with us! The person from the hotel was extremely unfriendly,...

This is a review of the hotel's restaurant La Pirogue, but TripAdvisor would not accept that under "restaurant". We stayed at a hotel on the beach south of the Aviavy hotel and had dinner and lunch at their restaurant, La Pirogue. On the first night we had one Indian meal and one fresh fish, plus desserts. Both meals were excellent...

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the friendly Aviavy hotel during my recent holiday on Nose Be island. The atmosphere at the hotel is very relaxed and the owners and staff will go out of their way to be of assistance, The hotel is situate on the beach and one literally steps onto the beach from the hotel deck. I...

We came to Madagascar for a Diving vacation and Aviavy Hotel was perfect for it (10% discount for both). It was next to Coral Diving Club and diving trips started every morning from the beach in front of the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable with A/C, mosquito nets and European bathrooms. Our backpacking days are behind, so a little...

Many and inexpensive dinner choices are available (including lots of vegetarian dishes) at the Aviavy Hotel's restaurant (Indian Palace). Great service and food! Highly recommended for its outstanding value and quality.

This is not the most expensive hotel on Nosy Be - but it is an outstanding find. With only 14 rooms it is small, but offers pretty well everything you need, especially if you are diving and go with the associated Coral Diving Centre (and thus get a 10% discount off both). Rooms upstairs are the best, and the 3...

The good - the location is excellent, right on the beach, and within walking distance of other hotels, restaurants and Amabatoloaka village if you're looking to eat elsewhere. Service is pleasant and friendly, although restaurant service can be quite long. The hotel restaurant cooks mainly Indian food, with some Western and Malagasy dishes, and it's very tasty. Rooms are fairly...
